I think it is that time of week. Not quite the weekend, but for many , it has been a long haul this week. It just may be that time imbibe an adult beverage. Not a full out party, just a sit back and take a breathe break. I don't consume a lot of alcoholic beverages but I do recall when taken in moderation it can relax a bit. Do you ,on occasion have a wine, or other drink to relax? If you do not imbibe, is there another go to relaxation drink?
And as always, if you do drink. Do so responsibly.

I have decided that I should make this confession. ,,, I am a shameless flirt. Yes, it is true, I am a flirt and am proud of it. No I have not tried to stop, nor seek help. Do you flirt ? If done with respect, do you find that a flirt annoying? In my case, I am never over bearing, and certainly do not try to be offensive. I try to get to know the person and if I do flirt, let it "escalate " in a manner not offensive. Tell us your flirting experience (s)

>>> Veterans Day, 11 November 2014

“An Act (52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a) was approved on May 13, 1938, which made November 11 in each year a legal holiday, known as Armistice Day. This day was originally intended to honor veterans of World War I. A few years later, World War II required the largest mobilization of service men in the history of the United States and the American forces fought in Korea. In 1954, the veterans service organizations urged Congress to change the word "Armistice" to "Veterans". Congress approved this change and on June 1, 1954, November 11 became a day to honor all American veterans, where ever and whenever they had served.”

Today is both one of my favorite and saddest day of the year. We have had so many men and women proudly serve our country in the Uniformed Military Services. As a little boy I always watched the Veterans Day parades in town. I marveled as the “Oldtime” Veterans marched proudly and were applauded by their neighbors. I eventually enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served with pride for 30 years. I had the honor to march in Veterans Day Parades over the years and finally realized the pride the “Oldtimers” felt. The only sadness I feel is for those that have been lost or severely injured while serving and the loss their family and friends feel. Lets all take sometime during our day today to thank a veteran and if you know a family that has a veteran or lost a veteran thank them also. Also , most municipalities have a local Veterans Memorial, a great place to visit and say thanks.

The flag or banner is defined as a white field with a red border, with a blue star for each family member serving in the Armed Forces of the United States during any period of war or hostilities in which the Armed Forces of the United States are engaged.

It is Monday again, seems like it happens at least once a week. Sometimes we over do it on the weekend and awaken with some aches and pains. I feel like a massage would be so good right now. Get some of the knots worked out of the muscles. Do you enjoy getting a massage? Do you enjoy receiving a massage? At least for me, I enjoy giving her a massage as much as I enjoy receiving one. The feeling of the smooth warm skin under hand is great. When was the last time you either received or gave a massage?

Now that it is Sunday, is it time for some quiet time for you and hopefully your partner? A time for you to just recharge and be ready for the new week coming. I enjoy just a quiet day, no plans, just enjoying each others company. Cuddling is of course on top of the list. Sometimes just normal daily activities can lead to special times. Sipping a cup of coffee, cooking breakfast, doing dishes, what makes quiet time special for you? Or conversely do you prefer to be by yourself? No matter what your choice, I hope it is peaceful for you.

Wow, I got up this morning looked in the mirror and noticed some changes have occurred . Have you noticed changes as the years have gone by? I admit physical changes, but the mentally I still feel young. Downside, sometimes my brain "writes checks" my butt can not cash. "Theoretically" how would you deal with becoming more mature ? Is it something you even think about? And for you young "whipper snappers" your time will come.

I like to think that this quote, attributed to George Carlin expresses my philosophy .........." "'Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY SHIT....WHAT A RIDE!"

Well, last night fellow blogger [blog misskissin] put a bug in my ear about music with [post 3518719]. Because of her ,I “had to” listen to some oldies for a good portion of the evening!!!. Now I get to inflict a similar torment on you!! Below are some oldie songs that have a special place in my musical heart. Are there any old songs, or for that matter any song (s) that are special to you? My list is not all inclusive, but I thought if I posted more, you may go running screaming into the night. Using the tube place makes music listening and searching for songs so much simpler.

Stuck In The Middle With You - Stealers Wheel ,, Would you believe, I thought I could sing this one very well in my youth?

Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress - The Hollies… wow I remember a lot of beers drunk to this one.

Brandi you're a fine girl - Looking glass ,,, One of my first Girlfriends favorite songs, so it was mine also.

Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival, This is a big memory one. I listened to it in Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan and a few other places. Was a “go to song”.

In The Summertime - Mungo Jerry ,,, This was fun and silly. Actually the first 8 Track I ever bought!!

Boogie Shoes - K.C. and The Sunshine Band ,, This was a great fad. Had us all TRYING to dance to it.

You Should Be Dancing - Bee Gees… sssshh don’t tell anyone ,I love this song.

Ok, time to confess. Have you ever had a wardrobe failure in public? Have you ever deliberately flashed someone in public. Maybe it was your partner? I have had a few times where I have lost my swim suit at the beach and maybe a few more when we got a bit too amorous in semi public. I never advocate having such an activity near a minor, so I am not talking that. I mean with your partner, or other consenting adults. Occasionally we will very carefully flirt, and touch in a public area, again being careful. Please share your experiences, or maybe even a fantasy

Well actually this post is about the nuances of the "net". How has it changed your life? Do you think if it has changed you, is it for the good? Do you remember the days before the prevalence of the "net"? There seems to be changes in how we communicate now. It has extended into Texting. Please share your experience and opinion on the "net". (I kept this vague so we can hear your thoughts and opinions)

Time to shake what your Mama gave you . There are many aspects of a persons anatomy that are admired. One that does catch my attention. the butt, booty, culo, or what ever pet name you may have. It is the foundation for a persons body. In future posts, we can explore other body parts. For today, please let us know if the booty is a part that you admire. If you do, why? If not why?

No going back to bed, we do after all have to be semi conscientious adults. I am a cuddler, so a few long cuddles work for me. Please share what would work for you

Generally I am an optimist when it comes to human nature. I personally get a lot of pleasure from Random Acts of Kindness (RAK). How about you? Do you RAK? Hold a door open for someone, have a smile and a pleasant greeting for a stranger? And do not forget RAK for an acquaintance . Please share your idea about RAK and an example of what you may have done or seen? Have you been the recipient of a RAK? Yesterday I was so pleased to see a at the coffee shop walk an elderly lady to her car in the cold rain, using his umbrella. I was going to pay for his coffee order when he came back in the shop, but some one had beaten me to it

I woke up this morning got ready to take the brutes for our morning jog. And WOW!!! I had forgotten to check the weather,, it is about 45F, windy and rainy!!! Cancel that jog. Now back in the house, steamy hot shower complete, comfy sweat suit. The question is, given the choice, how would you spend a cold, windy and rainy day? Become a snuggle bum / bunni? Watch a movie? Veg out with a book? Or even bundle up and go for a walk? What would it be? I bet you can not guess my choice (s)
