1. Kind. Yeah I know it’s kind of a given but not everyone actually qualifies, you’d be surprised. And really, why would I want to spend time with someone who’s mean? Yeah, Mom, here she is, pretty and vicious! I don't think so.
2.Intelligent. Perhaps not the first (or second) qualification that might make most lists on here but it's important to me.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for evil genius here folks. I don't want you to build a trans-dimensional portal out of my toaster and suck us both into an alternate dimension where monkeys rule the earth. No siree bob! Once was enough thank you very much! What I mean is, be able to finish a crossword, answer a few jeopardy questions, and for Pete's sake please know the difference between your and you're.
3.Attractive. Oh boy, here it comes! I knew it, he’s just a typical guy looking for a piece of woohoo and doesn't care a thing for my feelings! Well, don't get me wrong a piece of woohoo certainly wouldn't go amiss... but attractiveness isn't necessarily purely physical, oh sure that’s part of it and I’ll admit I’m shallow enough that if I really found someone physically repulsive I wouldn't want to be with them physically. Sorry, jus’ keeping it real folks (I know, I know, I’m a bad person). But attractiveness is more than physical too, it’s the energy, the fire, the drive the passion, the mind, the personality, the humor, the ability to surprise. That’s all part of the package to me so when I say attractive, don’t imagine that it means Barbie Doll figure and plastic surgery looks (which by the way I don’t like). It means be interesting and personable enough that I am “attracted” to you and want to spend time with you whether you have clothes on or not.
Less make-up is a good thing, be honest and confident in who you are and it’ll shine to me, I promise. I'm an artist by trade and my ideal of beauty is NOT what Hollywood thinks is beautiful.
4.Humorously compatible. You simply have to find my humor amusing. If you've read this far then perhaps you do and that's a good thing because, honestly, I am NOT going to change that part of who I am and you don’t want to see me pout. It’s not pretty. And if you can make me laugh? Ding! We have a winner!
5.Open minded. No racists. No haters. Nothing puts you in the ignore box faster than being a hater. ‘Nuff said.
6. Clean. Sorry but I’m not interested in heavy drug users or STDs. If you smoke up once in a while that’s ok, but I'm told by some very reliable people that moderation is a virtue... Sounds fishy I know, but, I guess I'll trust them for now.
7.Stringless. I am so not looking for drama. I don’t want to find out you've got a boyfriend or a husband who doesn't know a thing about this site. Seriously uncool.
8. Smokers need not apply. Sorry but the smell, good grief the smell! I know you don't notice it but if I even hang around someone who smokes that freaking smell is in my clothes and hair for DAYS! UGH! (sorry, rant over)
