the need for a jacket

Last night at 9pm my who is home for spring break an was supposed to leave at 6am the next morning announced that she had just washed her jacket and my washing machine shredded it. Well the jack did say hand wash but her winter jacket was toast. So I got in my car and drove her to target, macys and then the local wallmart. The car was fish tailing a bit even with front wheel drive. No luck they had no winter jackets left. Actually macys did have some jackets but for $75-150 they were rather ugly even by my standards. So being the nice guy that I am I drove out to east gate mall but only found a little girls jacket that just barely fit and a carhart workmans jacket size XL that was too big. Of course my would rather freeze than be caught in a black jacket with a cheesy fake fur collar. So we fish tailed home for an hour and then got out the needle and thread and had her grandmother sew it.
The saga of today I'll put in another post but she is still here and we are snowed in

An evening with Morpheus

Reciently I spent the evening with someone special.

Morpheus for those readers who are not familiar with mythology is the ruler of the dream domain where time and reality yield to the wishes of the sandman.

Corcoran Fine Arts on shaker square was exhibiting selected photographs taken by Herbert Ascherman Jr. entitled bodies: 1967-2007. For those of you familiar with his work, the black and white photographs of his dancers often in the nude are present but scant, this is a dark and steamy side of Ascherman that I had not previously seen. For lovers of the Bondage scene, this exhibit is in your realm.
The plethora of shapes, sizes, and markings with which the human body is endowed continues to fascinate me. Add to those curves and folds a bit of culture and the variation becomes infinite. Some of Ascherman’s classic ballet dancers adorn the walls as well as bodies chained or bent in various positions. Casting a more critical eye past the leather and living flesh, I was struck by the look on the faces that he happened to capture. Perhaps a moment of private contemplation best describes it. The morphology series struck me as particularly unusual, at first glance perhaps even a bit under choreographed and cheesy. Promethius the god of fire a young man in the nude with a sparkler and a bag of mysterious liquid duct taped to his chest. Cupid was a full figured man with feathers dropping from his wings and inflated condoms on a stick, in full leather and chains with a sword like, black paddle. Morpheus was portrayed by a nude man with short cropped blond hair dark, the dark roots of which suggest dye, moving in a blur from the foot of a sleeping man to his head where he gestures for accompaniment with an outstretched hand. A bit too male dominated for me to appreciate fully, yet in thought I find it perhaps one of his best, minus my preference for at least one female in the picture.

Mythology perhaps but I can’t help but contemplate that Morpheus cast out some of his spell, not of sleep but of his realm. Wendy angela darling cast a long lasting archetype to be pursued since my childhood yet as the night flowed on, I became lost in softly spoken words that were built not of thoughtless prattle but intelligent social intercourse. The shadows which danced across a smile still linger in my mind as I replay each moment in silent longing. Eyes which became soft and enveloping as time ebbed began to pull me into their depths. I found myself hearing more than words, more than body language. A fascination of a kindred spirit which began to relax and speak a language of it’s own. A longing held in check for moments almost too numerous to survive, a longing to live and explore, to laugh and embrace all that is. I find myself biting my lip even now, for some part of me is moving into that pleasant sensation of being in the simple presence of another, radiant beyond simple lust, into dream like comfort. As my grasp on my surroundings began to shift into only her, I couldn’t help but notice little things which began to awaken my senses that I was in the presence of a woman, the soft shoes on her feet, the soft allure of her eyes, the way her body flowed while walking, the scent of her hair, the jingle of her ear rings, right down to the dainty bites with which sampled her dinner.

I speak not of love nor of lust but appreciation of all that defines a woman. I speak of the suspense of the chase, a game from which I both love and fear.

May the sandman visit you as well.

First you have to respect that we have a nationally recognized black canidate for president who is taken seriously as opposed to Al sharpton who ranks with Dennis K. and Ralph Nadir. Ok score one for diversity and america finally becomming color blind.

Therefore how ironic is it that his name rhymes with yo mama? Do you remember being in elementry school when you rhymed peoples last names to make fun of them? He must have been teased all the time. Hey it's Barrack yo-mama.

Now to be fair I noticed that Hillary's was giving a rally at the university last saturday. Given that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree I wondered if perhaps she might be willing to cut a deal under the table, say a BJ for my vote! I mean lets face it its not sex according to her dad so it must be fair game. When her parrents ask is that your baby in my I could say well that depends on what the meaning of "is" would be. Normally no matter how I vote I usually figuratively take in in the rear. At least this way I could get something out of it! (Alas I didnt go)

well that leaves McCain and I cant find anything remotely humorous about him. perhaps that says it all.

Hope to see you all at the boneyard at 7pm for sweetcheeks birthday. Don't be shy! I went to the last meet and greet and it was lots of fun.

Today we visited the cleveland museum of art to check out the the imperial austrian armory exhibit. There were very few swords butlots of armor. Briefly after the austrian empire was forged the turks decided to invade. After two unsuccessful invasions the austrians decided to form a defensive post near the border in roughly southern germany to the south east of augsburg/munchen. The armory was stacked with armor, swords, pikes and primative fire arms. When the town bell rang the men would don the armor and take up arms dividing into heavy armored knights on armored horses, 3/4 armored pikemen who guarded the musket armed non armored men and light armored swordsmen. Firearms were just starting to become deadly weapons. Interestingly the use of bows and crossbows was not mentioned or shown perhaps due to the lack of penetration when wearing armor. The armory was preserved by the town when most others sold their goods for scrap metal thus they have a large collection of armor and wepons in working condition from the period.
Overall it was not that impressive, the armor was cool to be sure and the final exhibit of arrayed pikeman was one of the best pieces. However there have been pieces in the museum on a regular basis which were just as good.

In fact let me plug twopieces not in the armor exhibit that if you go you shoult check out. The first is a large blue bowl with a new yourk down town type scene. The artist grew up in shaker heights cleveland and just died at 101?

The second is a 3d painting / work of art by red gruss? I'm drawing a blank on the names. Again it depects a NY street scene but I like it. An umbrella in the garbage can which is next to a street light with the wires hanging out of the bottom, I also like the guy poping out of the man hole cover on the lower left and the people half in and half out of the door of the stores on the right

After the museum we decided to do some indoor archery. Perhap I should say that its a good thing I wasn't in the battle. I did hit the target but no bulls eyes for me today.

And now I'm going back to work for a few hours.

Back from winter camping!

Hi gang! My apologies for being so quiet. I've returned from 2 successful camping adventures. The first trip was rather warm all in all until the last day when we were hit with a winter squall! I have some pictures and I shall endevor to post them soon. I got stuck several times in the snow comming home due to the heavy trailer I was hauling.

The second trip was much more intersting. First someone brought with a potatoe cannon made from PVC. Cannon really does describe it. 4 inch PVC pipe ignition chamber powered by hairspray and a grill igniter which narrowed down to a two inch barrel. It a good thing I'm not a any more!

We also set up a zip line down a ravine. The hardest part was getting the rope tight enough so that when you slid to the middle the rope didnt sag and lower you to the ground.

What would be a campfire with out smores!

I was so warm in my winter gear that I actually had trouble sleeping when I returned to the house becouse I was "cold".

Jacking off with tigerbalm

The title alone says it all
Before you go any farther I want you to know that he is fine now, no lasting damage done. You can laugh and cry he's fine. He might kill his brother some day but he's fine.

I heard a great/tragic story that apperantly happened a few years ago that I am only finding about now. After I heard about it I had to pretend not to be amused which was extremely difficult.

There was a little brother who was evesdropping on his big brother and one of my sons friends. They happened to be talking about girls and sex. So the older two pretended to not to notice that he was hiding nearby listening to them. After a short time they began to discuss methods of jacking off and raved about the wonderful sensation that tigerbalm gave to the self hand job. (They claim that they didnt think he would di it. )

You know what came next, he bought it hook line and sinker, and waxed his wang with a good handfull of it.
For those of you not familar with TB it is a cross between vicks vapor rub and bengay. It works wonders when applied in small amounts in the right unsensitive place. If you get it on a more sensitive area it burns like hellfire and if you try to wash it off it's like putting very cold ice. Either way your not likely to have a moment of peace for some time. Oh and it resists being washed off.

Well he started screeming and of course in comes the mom. Now he has a delima tell mom he was jacking off or take the pain. Of course he blurted it out after a few seconds. Amazing how a boy and his balls are so connected!

Of course her first instinct was to wash it off. Poor , now is mom is looking at his wang and touching him as well. To make matters worse he then got it on his testical sack as well.

Eventually they got it off with a towel and some hand cream. Poor ! I dont know if I should laugh or cry!!!

Have you ever been camping in the winter?
I'm going tomorrow! I'm sure I'll snap a photo or two. I hope we have lots of snow so I can build an igloo.
Hmm I need to add that to my fantasy list. Sex in an igloo in the middle of a city park. Sigh, I guarantee that it wont be this weekend.

I've been working at least 12 hour days and making dinner, and washing the laundry as well. Oh and I even find time to read to my youngest.

Sleep has been a bit sparce and I find myself requiring large amounts of caffine and food.

Hope you are all well!

Sorry I havn't written more the day have been just too packed full of things to do. Work on the house is progressing as well as work in the lab. I've been so busy one of my collegues emailed me and asked if I was dead becouse I didnt email her right away.

I did dissect a cow eye a few days ago and although it sounds gross it was really interesting. Have you ever noticed that animal eyes seem to glow at night in the light? Thats beouse they have this extra membrane in the back of their that looks like mother of pearl.

I'm going camping for the next two weekends so I've been trying to get ahead.

Amazing,
I restored water to the basement, first and second floors. I didnt finish the third floor but I did connect the lines to the watre main!

Only two leaks, one was a valve my used to make a rocket and was covered with epoxy. The leak stopped after my second attempt. The other leak, well lets just say I was tired and forgot to seal one of the joints! At least it was easily fixed.

Hi to all my friends in blog land. If your wondering where I am, I met a very sexy group of women on this site and I've been so busy having sex that I couldn't write.....

ok so that is a big lie but it sounds like more fun than replumbing the house which is what I am doing. As with all projects in my old house this one has taken some unexpected twists. When I tried to disconnect the galvanized union from the boiler to the main line the pipe broke at a tee. I said a few bad words. I think it was "Fuck me". My said whats wrong so I showed him and he said the same thing. If your wondering what I talking about, steel or galvanized water pipe has threads on the ends that you tighten with a big wrench. The problem is that the pipe in the middle screws in one end while it comes out of the other end. Translation you have to disconnect each pipe attached until you get to the end in order to screw it back together.

So I lost the temporary use of my washing machine and basement laundry tub. So we replaced the broken line , tee and elbow and plugged one side until I can cut the pipe which runs in that dirrection and add a union. The cold water and hot water lines that run to the rest of the house looked like a Dr Seuss musical instrument. I cut them out after running new copper from the thrid floor to the basement.

Of course there was a problem with the main water line so the last few days were water free fun, including knocking a new hole through three layers of brink to level out the main water supply. I did manage to cobble together a few lines to feed the boiler so I would have heat but nothing else.
So right now I have a toilet and a sink in my hallway. I did however mange to reconnect the hot water line to the second floor shower. I had to turn down the water heater so we didn't get burned when we showered but I don't think I havent taken a shower in several days since I was a .
Tomorrow I'll start with the washing machine lines and then the cold water lines to each floor. If I'm really lucky I'll have the use of my own toilet again without having to use a bucket to flush.

Sooo thats where I am. Yeah I like the sex thing better too. Oh well thats life.

On a positive note, when I turned off the water the leak in the bathroom floor/kitchen ceiling stopped!

One of my favorite movies is Flashdance.
There are several scenes that I just love.

1) Hana's death- I like the reaction and the emotion, then the woman talking about loosing her dream.

2) Tina tech- sexy but thats not the best point how does she do those moves front to back back to front.

3) The last dance scene, yeah there are atleast two dancers but so what the moves are awsome.

4) I love the sound track

what movies do you like and why?

How long should a man wait after he gets a woman's phone number before he calls her
5 minutes
when he gets home to show that he is interested
the next day
two days later
three days later to show that he is not desperate

A friend of mine in California just told me a great story so I thought I would pass it along. He's been going through a divorce with a wife who contracted herpes becouse she was cheating and left him. ("I married you to have a respectible father for my and now I want to have some fun") Needless to say I've spent a lot of time talking him through some rough times.
I told him to work on himself, work out, get some nice clothes, get hip to the new music scene, read a few books on relationships especially those from a womans perspective and learn how to dance. Quit crying and start living! (PS you should probabally tell me this as well) He's been on match tring to find a new relationship for a few months. He emailed a few new prospects every week but recieved no leads. FYI, he a good looking 5'10' blond hair blue eyed, muscular guy with a big libito.
He finds a woman that he is really interested in, high compatibility score and emails her on Friday but notes that its been 3 weeks since she was "on site". He went out Friday night by himself to practice his new dance moves and social skills. He didnt meet any leads but had a really good time dancing. He didnt ask anyone for their phone number either. He said the place was crawling with potential women.
Saturday night he went to a dance party that one of his co-workers was having and decided to try his luck dancing. He met two fine young ladies during dancing but was too shy to pursue any further advancement. As he exited he saw the same two ladies outside and decided to strike up a conversation. Deciding that he had nothing to loose he flirted with them and finally asked for a phone number which one of the two provided. As the conversation deepened she mentioned that she had opened a small store and was earning her teaching certificate. Bells went off in his head, could it be her? The girl who he had emailed the day before after reading her profile? He remembered that her on line picture had a small mole near her lip, yes it was her!
Now he is going to wait 3 days before he calls her and he can hardly wait.
Morals of the story-
1)Men do read womens profiles
2) Men dont get emails back from most of the women they contact
3) If you only persue on line your chances of meeting someone nice are limited

I love a good romantic story. Oh she has no idea that he emailed her.

Also please email me my own advice from time to time.
