seem to do my best thinking when I am driving, although some may say that I rarely think  Drove to Halifax, and back, this past weekend so had 7 glorious hours to exercise my brain. One idea that popped up was a get to know a little more about me in the form of a little quiz. Let's see how well you do.
Here's a challenge for those of you who want to attempt it. I am going to list ten events from my past, in random order. Can you arrange them in the correct chronological order? The first one to successfully get all ten in order wins a prize. What's the prize you ask? That will have to be negotiated between the winner and me.
Here is my list:
Got hit by a car [don't recommend it by the way]
Got married [seemed like a good idea at the time]
Had Lasik surgery [now I see what they are talking about]
Graduated university
Hit in the head by a golf ball [explains a lot doesn't it?]
Got my first tattoo [which seemed to shock a lot of people]
Graduated high school [at the time it was get me the fuck out of here]
Started university [yes professor, I'm old enough to be here]
Lost my virginity [and no, I don't want it back!]
Got lost in Oklahoma [damn this place is flat!] [ok, I knew I was in Oklahoma, just not sure where in Oklahoma]

a male came into the chat room I frequent. His first comment is to say he is looking for a girl. Being a smart ass i reply that we only have women here, no girls.
He comes back with "girl, woman, there [his spelling] the same thing. Smart ass comment #2 - you can have fun with a woman but having fun with a girl will get you a bunk mate named Bubba.
He still doesn't get the hint and continues arguing that they are the same thing. Myself, and a couple other people in the room point out to him that his comments are disrespectful to women. He calls us aggressive.
We described it as standing up for our friends. He didn't see out point.
What do you think??

feeling last night and before you go there, no, get your mind out of the gutter
Got home from work, had a light bite to eat and decided to lay down for a bit.
When I woke up it was 6:40am, bright and sunny out. I felt refreshed and ready to tackle a new day. I had left the tv on so I switched to a news channel to catch up on the goings on in the world.
Hmmm, seemed to be a lot of people in the chat room for this time of the day
Still couldn't remember what I did last night, now that is a little weird. I must have crashed hard!
Time rolls by and it's time to hop in the shower
Feeling even better I go to my computer to check my email one last time .......my eyes drift down to the bottom right hand corner of the screen ......... 7:55pm ......PM!!!!!!!
Guess I know what I did last night now

a sports official, I rarely voice my opinion on other officials as I know how tough a job it is
but watching the NBA finals makes me see red ..... and I don't mean a red card
and before you say anything, I am a basketball ref and have been reffing for over 25 years
ok, not that old
but some of the calls these guys make, or don't make, are absofuckinglutely ridiculous
I love the sport, have played for longer than I have reffed but NBA basketball is more like football/rugby without pads at times.
Will not be sad to see the end of the NBA season and I can watch pure basketball ...... in the WNBA, and then the NCAA, where a foul is a foul and a travel is a travel.
Call me a purist but "entertainment" has trumped the sport in this case.
Gotta rant sometimes

you can finally sleep with the windows open
feel the breeze on your skin
you know, at least up here in the Great White North, that summer is here
and although that means an end to our regular parties until the fall, there are still the campout parties
and a chance to get back to nature
Might be a good opportunity to take some outdoor pix. What do you think? Might need a photographer though .....

I try to go out of my way to be both
To be human
and to be kind
but sometimes I just can't help myself and my smart-ass gene comes to the forefront
and I have to admire it when it pops up , intentionally or unintentionally

you just have to surrender and listen to what your body is trying to tell you
Wasn't feeling good at work today but since I love my job I pushed through the day.
Ok, not to this extreme but I do love what I do. When I got home and sat down I was having trouble staying awake. Now this is not unusual as I often take a nap after work as I put a lot of energy into what I do. Usually 30 mins or so just to refresh.
Instead of taking a nap in my chair, my body wanted my bed so I indulged myself and crawled into bed and slid under my duvet. It was 9c today [around 50F] and I keep my windows open, hence the duvet
Closed my eyes, think I woke up a few times but went right back to sleep. Next thing I know it is after 10pm!
Missed supper. Missed a lot of things. Still felt crappy. Texted a friend to let them know where I had disappeared to and then rolled over and went back to sleep.
A little under two hours later and now I'm awake, knowing I'll be at work in 8 hours, hoping I'll get a few hours more sleep between now and then but realizing that I got 7 hours sleep already when all I usually only need 6. Sometimes your body knows what you need before you do.
On the bright side, the Daily Show was just coming on when I woke up
And once again, ty A arf arf for deleting some of my pics from my blog post

are just that, fantasies, but working to fulfill one, or more of them, is not a bad road to follow. Our brain is our biggest sex organ, no matter what some guys might think lol, and maybe we should listen to it a little more often.

am continually amazed at how much our brain can remember,
although some continue to amaze me for how little they remember.
I've been listening to a radio station that plays 70s, 80s, and 90s music and I'm loving it and
I am surprised how many of the songs I remember the words to and sing along to, sorry anyone who could hear
One of life's little pleasures
