moon tonight. Did you have a look at it? Did you know that 2015 has 4 eclipses, the minimum number of eclipses that can happen in a calendar year. The September 28 Total Lunar Eclipse marks the last eclipse of the year. It will be preceded by a partial solar eclipse on September 13, 2015. The first eclipse of the year, a total solar eclipse took place on March 20. Two weeks later, on April 4, 2015 the first lunar eclipse of 2015 took place.
But what do they know. They are all kinds of moonscapes out there and an eclipse is defined as - an obscuring of the light from one celestial body by the passage of another between it and the observer or between it and its source of illumination.
Now just need another celestial body to obscure the light.

you just have to wonder what some guys are thinking ...... well ok, we all know they aren't but you know what I mean.
For some reason, maybe it's the change of seasons or something, but I have been getting more messages/comments than normal from men who seem to think that I'm a woman. For example -
Your very good looking baby and I love you

That was from a 75 year old male from Ohio. Now if he actually meant "your very good looking baby" that is quite disturbing as, A - I don't have a baby, and B - what baby is he looking at then? But let's go with his abysmal spelling instead as we know that your and you're have two entirely different meanings.
Maybe it's my profile pic that is causing the problems.
I have had a few men in chat rooms hit on me thinking "that ass belongs to a woman" [their excuse when told otherwise] even though it has a M next to my nickname. Silly me, expecting them to actually read even one letter. 
I know they aren't going to change, I don't plan on changing my profile pic either and it is funny when they do it but FFS people, can't you at least try to determine the gender first??
Now the above imagine is not a blanket statement, just aimed at the above mentioned representatives of the male species.

they say. Show me some proof that you're weird. Well I just read an article that says that a psychologist revealed the 9 most common dreams and what they mean. Well I looked at this psychologist's list and I went 0 for 9. An 0 for! If that's not definitive proof that I'm weird I don't know what it.
And I wouldn't want me or you any other way.

have one of those days where it feels like someone painted a target on your back?
Walking dead before the Walking Dead.
I liked how they paid homage to the red shirt mark of death in the new take on Star Trek as we knew the guy in the red shirt would not survive his freefall onto the drilling platform.
But some were too good to get rid of.
By the way, I didn't have that kind of day. Just needed a good lead in to the post. Once a smart ass, always a smart ass.

we were a lot of us had a great time on these,
trying to see how high we could get and for the adventurous ones, seeing how far we could fly off of them.
As adults we still think about swings
but these ones are a lot more fun.

can strike a chord within you. One of the sounds that never fails to reach deep into me is the sound of bagpipes. Yes, bagpipes! I was at the Paul McCartney concert in Halifax in 2009 and the place went nuts when the pipers came on to the stage near the end of his concert. Yes, a lot of the audience has pipes in their heritage but it was a visceral emotion.
Since today is the 14th anniversary of 9-11, bagpipes played during the ceremonies evoke deeper feelings. It is like it reaches in and tugs at your heart, mind, and soul. The loss was great but how people came together in crisis showed how great we can be when needed, putting others first, some made the ultimate sacrifice.
It doesn't feel like it was 14 years ago. I can still vividly remember waking up on the couch after working all night to seeing a tall building on fire. Figured it was a movie until I switched the channel and saw the same thing. I stayed riveted to the tv the rest of the day, trying to digest all I was seeing and hearing. That day changed the lives of so many people. The bravery showed by all the rescuers involved can never be repaid, only honoured.
Courage comes in all forms.
