Your favourite charities

Well the holidays are fast approaching and I always find myself thinking about how truly blessed and lucky I am to have such a full and rewarding life. I also give more thought to those that are less fortunate than I am, and what I can do personally to help.
Every year I like to donate what I can to the charities that I feel serve the greatest benefit and those that help the ones with the least power to help themselves. I have donated to various different organizations in the past. Some I feel serve a more noble cause than others and some I won't donate to anymore because I feel that people take advantage of our generosity and take things that they don't need. I quit donating to food banks because I feel that there are too many people that go there and get food because they spent all their money on booze, drugs, and smokes. That kind of behaviour is unacceptable to me and it hurts those that genuinely need the help!
So I thought about it and i decided I want to help those that are the weakest and have the least control over their situations. Here are my personal favourites! And my reasoning behind why I have chose them in particular! 
1 - the Stollery 's Hospital
It breaks my heart to see sick and know all of the pain and suffering they must endure! Childhood is supposed to be fun and innocent. I want to do what I can to help these enjoy Christmas and beat their sickness. Their optimism in the face of such adversity inspires me greatly and gives me a wonderful feeling knowing that I have tried to help in my small way.
2 - The Alberta SPCA. this one is very important to me! These abused animals are truly powerless and have no voice of their own. They suffer in silence and endure horrors and misery that are hard to even imagine! I love animals, and they bring me great joy and inspiration. My was a rescue and even during the worst of times he can always bring a smile to my face. I will do all that I can to help bring an end to their suffering!
3 - Stars Air Ambulance. Their work speaks for itself! When life is clinging to a thread these guys make the difference. Many good people wouldn't be here today with out this amazing, and in my mind truly essential service.
4 - The Local Woman's Shelter. Often when these women flee the violence that they are experiencing they come to the shelter with nothing more than the cloths they are wearing. And they have no support system! I have a friend that I met who is very successful and supports a family of five girls by herself. She left with next to nothing and if it wasn't for the support of the shelter and it's services she would not have been able to make the changes in her life that led to her current success! She opened my eyes to how vital these shelters are and how much good positive support they provide.
Well those are the ones that we are donating too this year. I would love to help everybody that is truly in need but I know that I can only manage so much. I hope you guys feel as lucky in life as I do and I hope that you choose give a helping hand to those that are down and could use some help. The amount you donate may not be alot but it could mean everything to someone that has nothing left to lose! Well it's that time of year again! I love summer and will miss seeing all the pretty girls wearing less clothing! Lol. I always fall into a bit of a emotional slump around this time of year! I'm curious if others are feeling this way also? I do enjoy the cool mornings and warm afternoons, but summer is definitely my favourite time of year!

One Year on Polyamory Date

So it's been aboat a year since I joined Polyamory Date. I have met a couple different people for coffee, but have only had one serial encounter so far! I find that there are alot of fake, narcissistic, big talkers and very few genuinely nice and open people on here!
If I had to give Polyamory Date a rating it wouldn't be very high! The actual website is completely geared towards grabbing your money! Luring people in with fake emails and icebreakers! You gotta be sharp on here and not expect much! That being said there are some great people here too, and it's a great way to waste time if you have it to spare! I won't be renewing my membership as life's priorities have changed, just gotta make sure Polyamory Date doesn't try charge my credit card for another year, as I have read that they try this quite often hoping that you won't notice right away, or won't fight it when they do!
All in all I would rate it as a neutral experience, the good balances out the bad. It has entertained when bored!

So I was thinking about this and for me age isn't a big deal. I try not to judge people by their age. I have met really young people that are very mature and seem much older than they are. on the flip side I have also met older people that are very immature and act like little ! lol
I personally like women of all ages , young, innocent and beautiful! and older, confident and sexy . but if had to choose what age group I find the most attractive, I would have to say that women in their forties are the most attractive to me. I just love the confidence they have in themselves, and the experience they have ! not to mention that older women seem to have a very strong libido

So one of the things I am required to do to earn an extra 6 months of free subscription to Polyamory Date is to post one blog a month. When I signed up for the super deal I didn't realize that this was part of it! Lol. So I figured this month's post is about privacy.
I noticed that some people on Polyamory Date arn't concerned about face pictures or hiding their identity. I think that is great that they are comfortable with shoeing their identity. I however choose not include face pictures. I work in a professional setting and with that comes the requirements of representing my company in a professional manner. Upper management would surely frown appon seeing pictures of me engaged in kinky sex acts, naked with a big grin . I have lots of private pictures of my face and other various body parts to share privately. I like to see pictures of people before I meet them, I think there needs to be some physical attraction to make things work!
So I understand that some people are very protective of their identity, but I expect that if they want to see my private pics that they will share theirs in return Feel free to comment on what you choose to reveal or not in your profile! Take care

Well so far so good! I have been on Polyamory Date for 6 months now and it has definitely kept me entertained! Lol. I have met a couple really good people that have become online friends, I hope to meet them in person when time permits! I have also met the typical assortment of time wasters, conceited fools and straight up wing nuts! Lol.
The one thing that really bothers me is when someone flirts or hot lists you and sends a message, but won't send you a message back when you reply! I mean if your not interested why not just reply with "not interested ". It is pretty simple and the polite thing to do! I understand that a lot of people are on here for the ego boost and are not serious. But why they feel better about themselves by snubbing others is beyond me!
I'm curious as to the experience that others have had here on Polyamory Date? Good, bad, or ugly! Feel free to tell me about them here Have a wonderful day!

My time of the month

I'm sitting here pondering, and I have been thinking " Do men have a time of the month " lol. It seems that I do, there is always a week or two every month where in very horny (more than usual) and an constantly thinking about sex!
So after thinking about it a fair bit I have come to the conclusion that it must be the pull of the full moon causing this! Haha there is some truth to this after all! As it happens every month, I will be normal and retry content for two or three weeks and then for a week or so the wolf really comes out in me, and I feel the need to hunt for a wild sexual conquest! It's like my sex drive and desire builds to a peak and then recedes. I have just started tracking this and as of now I am blaming the moon! Lol. I am going to track this for a few months on the calendar and see if there is any truth to this theory!
