Tell us something about yourself

I'm on several dating sites, and they are all the same in that they ask us talk a little about ourselves in an introduction/about type of entry. There are profiles out there with no answer this. Of course, those make suspect fake profiles put up by scammers or cons.

Some people try be clever by saying, "Just as" Sure, all I have do is as All I have do is pick a topic that you're interested in and startup a conversation. If you're not interested, you probably won't respond. Then what? Am I asking again on a different topic? Should I write a standard email that covers many topics and hope that one of them sounds worthy of conversation to you? I don't think this shotgun approach is reasonable. "Just as" The fact is, you've been pre-asked when you fill out your profile. Are you so unaware of yourself that you can't talk about yourself on a website for a paragraph or ? Do you seriously need be asked twice? That's too high-maintenance for .

I like the Polyamory Date profile because there appears be no character limit in the profile so that people can put as much information as they want in there, and I appreciate members who take the time give us an idea who you are and what you're looking for. At least I have some key information that might tell me that we're not a good match or if there's some special thing that gets me really excited about contacting you.
