Paradise lost...

Let tell you a story.

A long time ago in another site, there was a girl who captured my heart. (If you've read my other blogs you'll know it happens often.)

I live in the Midwest and she was an East coast girl. But still... I wanted to meet her. And I never got the chance.

We did our chatroom. Then it closed. We did email. We did phone. (video wasn't cost effective yet.) We were in love.

For over 2 years we were each other's world.

The very last that I heard from her was that she was sick and wasn't feeling well. Cold and flu season. No biggie.

Hours. Days. Weeks. Months.

I looked her once about 6 months later.

Married.

I never heard from her again.

I'll never forget her memory.

This isn't the whole story by far. There's more to it, but those are the big talking points. I can say those without getting to sad, but it's taken me 20 years to get there.
