There was no light
only darkness
I could not see
not one moment
of my life
it had disappeared
I was gone
I had vanished
I had changed life
somewhere else
there was light
I felt cold
a warm blanket
wrapped me
I was held
in her arms
she embraced me
​as I began
​​a ​new life
