Wow....gonna be a longgggg day. Hope you both have not been exposed....but maybe a place that has rapid testing can be found, for assurances. You re right...its not rocket science. Just play by the friggin rules people....Ugh We need to get beyond this and that takes ALL of us collectively playing by the rules, whether we agree to em or not. Be well ~~

Something similar to that happened where I work. One of the engineers was sick and came in anyway. And she wasn't supposed to be there to start with, because she was furloughed. Later that day she tested positive for the China virous. Some of the people she exposed herself to are over 65 so they and a couple of others had to be quarantined. Thank God I work in a different building.

You can call the local health dept to ask questions. Also check their website. If you did not have contact with your son, you should be safe. He can self quarantine in his room. That means he cannot come out. You shouldn't be sharing a bathroom. Though if he wears a good quality mask when out of his room, you should be ok. Ideal is potential sick person stays in room and has own bathroom and has food dropped right outside door on disposable plate/tools. Life of course is not ideal. My son worked a couple of months in a Covid unit. He did not catch it. He wore mask, gloves, etc when needed as did ill people. It's possible to stay healthy. Good luck. I'll pray your son stays healthy.
