Awkward conversations?

I was having coffee yesterday morning and my mind was on auto-pilot. That can be dangerous.

I can't retrace the thought process exactly, but somehow in my head I was talking to a potential new partner for cybersex. In my imagination things were going great.

At that point my insulin pump and my CGM (continuous glucose monitor) both went off at the time, rudely interrupting my thoughts. They were both alerting me my blood glucose was dropping and I needed get some carbohydrates bring it back up "normal" levels.

I heard the alarms, and at the time my daydream did continue for a beat or . But definitely not a nice as it had been. In my daydream I took my shirt off. Her eyes popped of her head. Not at the sight of my chest, but at seeing medical devices attached my<b> belly. </font></b>amp;

My great daydream turned into a nightmare!

After that, I began to more thoughtfully consider how to bring up a conversation about potential medical issues with a new partner.

Has anyone had a conversation like that? How did you approach it? How did it go?
