This is a question that should never be asked or answered - by and between partners. Up until now, you've accomplished nothing but the skills to learn (on your own). Not even your brain will be fully developed for another five or six years. You have nothing, accomplished no great intellectual achievements and basically have nothing to lean on or claim of expertise. (well for most at 21) A hard truth but something to recognize as you tell yourself, "I can have/do anything I want" and then making the effort to reach those goals. My point is, it will not always be that way. You'll grow, mature, educate and reeducate while discovering new interest and deeper desires/passions (not sexual) for life, career, family and other fun stuff. However, with nothing gained and to loose your aversion to risk (and consideration thereof) really doesn't exist. Yet sex with endless numbers of partners is the biggest risk you take as this can lead to death or worst living with an std and not capable of having the sex you enjoy now. And random partners are never randomly honest or even knowledgeable when they themselves engage with endless numbers of random partners. Back to "it will not always be that way". The only thing you need to think about is who do "You Want to Be?" in ten years. The mature Sophie is who I'm talking about. How will endless partners play out in your head in five, ten and twenty years and how will that affect your relationship when you want to settle into the life you're creating now? Otherwise, ignore all those that cheer for the slut. They simply envision bedding you with nothing more than burn and churn techniques that get them off ( damn the woman's needs  ).And, you and your friend may be confusing the term slut with a more articulate explanation of what you enjoy. I'm willing to bet you're not too sure about what that really is. But don't latch onto the term slut because everyone who likes/engages in sex could be equally labeled the same way - especially men and then most men here.

Enough is enough! I guess the real question is, how much is enough and how much is too much for you? Some of us never seem to have enough, no matter how much we get. And some, never seem to get enough, even when we have had too much. When our lifestyle negatively affects our home, our family, our health and well being, then it is too much. And by then, sadly, it is usually too late. There are more sexually transmitted diseases today than there are partners, and many of them are incurable. If you've had a good time, and you still have your health and your sanity, maybe you should consider settling down some. There is nothing wrong with having been a slut, but there is nothing worse than a has been old slut. Do what most professional fighters, race car drivers, football players don't usually seem to have the good sense to do. Get out while you are young, while you are ahead. jmo Anything done half-heartedly will net you an equivalent result. ~CH

Sophie, the older you get the easier it is to read people. You'll find some who don't care about the number, some who do, and some who find it kinky you've had so much experience.
