Is there Love after 40 ????
My question To all. It seam like love In your 40's or later is a whole new thing to me.After My ex wife i chose to Close myself off to the thought of love.I spent the last 10 alone and at time's it felt better. Now at 45 i sat on the cusp of a major life change.Do follow what my heart ache's for and fall in love again or should i just have fun and see what the next 20-30 brings.Having someone love me as much as i do them has always been the one goal i could never achieve. So that bring's me back to my question "Is there love after 40 and how is it different ?"

 Yes there is definitely love after 40. In my situation it smacked me in the face when I was not looking. The hardest part was my realizing that it was real and losing my leftover baggage. Don't be afraid just be cautious

 Been asking that question for the past year and half after my last relationship ended (not by my choice),been divorced for 9 years. I think my soulmate got lost and died somewhere.

 Yes you can, the difference will be in what you have learned from your past and your mistakes. Putting too many expectations on how it should be is one of many ways to never let it find you.

 Yes there is love after forty and I believe its a lot better as in our younger years we learned and we can now understand what makes a relationship work. Good luck to you I hope you find the lady of your dreams..

 Love can happen at an age - Love knows no age discrimination.

I've been divorced for about 5 years now and thought I found it, but it was more one sided, and never flourished. I hope to find it again, or maybe it will find me.

You just have to leave yourself open to the possibilities.....Good luck finding your love!

 Thanks everyone I'm glad to hear your thought's on this matter.I gave up for a long time On Love but I know that she's out there.I'll just keep working on that Life goal and we will see how it play's out. Again thanks for your cheerful words. I wish you all the same in you endeavors.
