Not just a guy thing, sadly friends boat is being fixed, he will take me as soon as it fixed. Just love it, perfect way to cool off. He also has an electric motor which is so quiet, see so much wildlife also enjoyable.

I would find it exhilarating to ride on a boat like that, but a little bit goes a long way. Like, 15-20 minutes would probably be enough for me. The two lakes I visited toward the end of my trip, both appeared to have banned motorized traffic. There were a ton of people kayaking, rowing, stand up paddleboarding, swimming...they were very busy but very relaxing, quiet and safe compared to if motorboats and jetskis were zooming around.

A couple of weeks before, I went to another lake which also banned all motor craft. Wow... what a peaceful place to spend the day.
