Wow.. You're pretty harsh. But I understand.. Then again, let's say that person is not being an asshole, but just being a little ... confusing.. ? I understand what you're saying though...
I guess I should pay closer attention. To what I say.
You know.. I always feel, even if I screw up... I'll always get a second chance. Let's face it. Texting is a heck of a lot more difficult than a phone call. THAT is the desider for me. The phone call. A voice is a true measure.... No? ðŸ“žðŸ˜‚ðŸ“ą

Anyone can have a bad day now and then. So perhaps a first impression can be overlooked if negative. I might come off differently depending on my mood. Sometimes I am bubbly and effervescent other times I am much more reticent. I try to be nice person in every situation. Manners. I suppose if I am in a good mood my sense of humor is more spontaneous.

I really liked your depiction of the woman's voice as a baby carrot. Makes one think. I laughed at the comment about is that all the cheese they have here...

I used to love cheese but I have a bit of lactose intolerance so I don't eat it as much anymore. I like Munster and Monteray Jack to go with crackers. I like Provolone for subs. Feta cheese in salads. Parmesan and Romano on pasta. And Mozzarella. I don't use Velveeta much but since you mentioned it I want a slice. LOL Also I want babybel cheese. I guess I am not such a fan of stinky cheeses though. Cheese is addictive according to science...something about casomorphins which are similar to opiods(opium and morphine). Check it out.

Well.. I told her what I thought was logical. I mean it's that or don't talk with your daughter. That's not good...
So your first impressions are the right ones? Hmmm. Good for you... I'm not always that lucky... ðŸ˜ą
So it sounds like you've been very busy.. Hope all is well with you. 😊
You changed your profile pic? Nice... Really nice... 👌👍😍

So you'll give a person more than one chance.. That's good to know. I guess that works for you? 😊
I made myself laugh as I was writing this piece. Do you ever make yourself laugh or cry at the things you write? It's weird no? 📝😭😂
Addictive.. right? I'll google that. Interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing... 👍😉

I try very hard not to make a judgement of anyone when I first meet them, because I know that one meeting does not tell all about anyone.

Yes, I've had a first impression that I later changed.

As for others' impressions of me, for the most part, I expect they will think I am a nice, friendly person. I try to treat everyone as I want to be treated.

First Impressions generally hold true, but there is that rare occasion when my initial impression both positive or negative was blindsided by actions. First impressions are usually based on conversation, attitude and sometimes action. I have experienced a situation where I really liked the person but I saw them treating their wife abhorrently in public. He didn't know I saw but the friendship I thought might arise I decided to forego.

Yep.. I can see that happening.. When you pay attention to people and how they treat others in public, you get a feel for who they really are...

Lets start with the cheese question/ I hate cheese / it's as simple as that. As for first impression upon meeting a person face to face I never
make any first impression we talk and I take him at face value./ as for myself
everybody reads me as a sweet, intelligent fun person.........that is if you take the time to actually talk to me / YOU Paul I dont see you as a smart ass. I see you as a snob cold person!.

I guess cheese is an acquired taste... not everyone likes everything. 😉
Wow... You're really patient to give people so much time to impress you... Patience is always good... 😊
Well.. Hmmm.. I guess somehow I may be giving off that type of vibe to you.. Although.... with all due respect... I can't think of what I have said that gave you that impression... 😕
Well... Perhaps over time there still might be hope for me to have you change your mind about me. 😊
Otherwise.. You can't like everyone you meet on the planet. I imagine I might have to live with your opinion. Or somehow change.. But I don't even know where to start? ðŸĪ”🙄
Thanks for sharing your pov... 👍

It's great if you can give off those type of positive impressions. And I agree, although we've never spoken in person. I get that type of intelligence from your posts and comments and playfulness in many of your blog posts.👌😉
I have laughed at many of them... 😁
So all it takes is a bit of time and you win them over...
Patience might be something that I lack... occasionally ðŸĪ” Patience is deffinitely a good bit of advice that I could use. 😊

1. Do first impressions hold true for you or do you ever change your mind about someone?
2. What first impressions do think you give off?
3. Bonus Question : Are you a cheese person or would you pass on the smelly ones?

==================================================
1. I trust my instincts, aka "follow your gut", as that has never failed me. During a first time meeting of someone, your head is busy processing a gazillion other things going on around you, while listening/talking to the other person, and your heart wants what it wants, so both of those idiots are no good. But your gut- instincts? They are what keep you alive when necessary or in dire circumstances. One can never be too careful at times.

2. Hmm... most likely aloof and hard to read, if you're looking at the surface of what was written above. Yes, I can see that. Data bytes on a computer screen are a poor impression, and though I type the same way that I talk (writer's blessing/curse), sometimes things can get lost in translation. I feel that we're both better off talking on the phone, then meeting face to face in a public setting to se if we click. Once we're face to face, I'm observant, maybe more than your average lady, but I'm quite focused on you as well as my surroundings. When we both start to relax and get acquainted with the other's energies, there's a nice blending that takes place. Some call it chemistry, and it can't be forced; it's either there or it isn't. If I don't feel it, I'll apologize and wish the person well on their search.

3. Cheese? Oh hell yeah! No American cheese though, or any other one wrapped in cellophane. That isn't cheese. Velveeta I can tolerate, because it mixes well with Rotell (c) when you're making a spicy queso dip for a party. But you won't catch me making homemade mac-n-chees with it- oh no. I'll use something else. Sharp cheddar most likely, or if I'm making it for myself and no one else, I'll use bleu cheese. Oh man, mac-n-bleu cheese-- YUMM! I haven't tasted a lot of imported cheese, but do love brie, and some other one from Ireland that I can't recall the name of. Gouda is overrated here, but I'll still eat it. I can find better tasting and more variety of cheeses in Trader Joe's or Whole Foods as opposed to the grocery.

Gut feeling works for me as well... usually... ðŸĪ”
So you talk the way you write? Quite a few writers do that... Aloof and well organized as well... hmmm. 😉
You might have a field day in this part of the world, with the choices I have. Tons of options including those that are not pasteurized... Goat cheese and a nice blue with a glass of wine and a fresh baguette? The invitation is an open one... 🍷🙂
