Slip into Her

Slip into her
cage______
bars of iron
waiting to bind the heart
screams of joy
days of rage
hours of silence
like a ratty
mole colored shawl
draped on an ass
that forgot to sag
a fishnet thin shroud
when days were<b> sunny
</font></b>stooped shoulders
seek warmth
where there is shadow
as the Chicory bud
turns to cornflower blue
I sometime feel it's true
that true love is never free
I've seen way too much
to believe that
anything that good
comes without
a price.
