Looks vs Brains

With all the new ways people seek to appear prettier and smarter and all, I was wondering which I would prefer:
A man who faked his looks. Or a person who faked their intelligence.
I decided that I would rather a person fake their looks but their behavior was genuine over a person who was good looking and fakes their intelligence.
Beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder but stupidly is just hard to overcome.
Then I realized that I am an expert at using lighting and angles to make Myself look good, And I like to keep My level of intelligence at a modest level.
It seems to Me that the intelligent people see Me, the less than want to share their thoughts and knowledge. People suddenly feel like the only conversations they can hold with Me have to be intellectual. I love to hear people's thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
I've been accused of "dumbing down" and I guess it's true, but not for the reasons people assume. I just like to talk to people about everything.
I can tell if someone is intelligent no matter what the topic of conversation, but sometimes people think it's a battle of wits to talk to Me and that couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm secure about what I do and do not know. This is a way for people to feel comfortable around Me. It doesn't bother Me a bit and it makes for great friendships.

Okay, those were My thoughts for today.

I didn't spell check or check for correct grammar as the thoughts flowed and I didn't want to interrupt them with My perfectionist nature.

There is a difference between having an intelligent conversation and an intellectual one. You don't have to be intellectual to have an intelligent conversation and intellect doesn't keep you from saying dumb things. The former can be very real and interesting the later forced and boring.

Please don't let me be misunderstood.

I like this one a whole lot. I don't have to be a willing sub to want to talk with you. I would rather see you at your full, intelligent glory. No need to dumb down for me. I know when I don't understand something, and I know how to ask questions. I also have no problem in encouraging you to go off in a direction I have little experience with. That's called learning. Not afraid of that. The experience would be an honor.
