Thanks, Tmpt. Yes, I do appreciate the those things in life. After decades of what I thought was giving to others, I am now turning the giving and nurturing to myself. -It's a lot like learning to feed oneself all over again and constantly missing the mouth! LOL

 i am all for the good lil thing in life...

i tell ya...after i went though 5 days without electricity, our patience was really challenged...i can't believe people were living like that in 19th century!!! no AC, no plumbing in the house, no TV!!!

but in the end, i guess we got our family together...sit around the fire and eat and talk...because there is nothing much we can do other than that...but enjoyed those lil things in our life...

japaneseass - I am so glad that you and your family are okay after the hurricane and that you were able to have electric after five days. That you all realized that being safely together is the most valuable possibility is something that I hope will always remain with each.
