 Maybe the man is being a perfect gentleman and is just not receiving the right signals or they are so vague that he is not interpreting them in such a way that would lead him to believe that she wants to move forward.

When you've gone to the trouble to invite a woman out ON A DATE.... and she's agreed to go out with you.... then on the first DATE you make a pass at her.

You invited her on a "DATE", so she should know you are sexually interested.

Determining where she is with you, is YOUR responsibility. So do this on the first "Date".

But if you invited her out to just hangout with you [not a date]...then don't worry about if she thinks you're gay.
