Home at last....

I had a short shift tonight, but I was not feeling the work vibe.

Ugh...

I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

I think I need a vacation.

I am lucky in that I do not have to work full time anymore, as my current job working 8 shifts a month pays almost as much as the last job working 20 shifts/month. Best investment of 5 months of education ever. So, I have done my 2 shifts for the week and now have 6 days off .... not really a "vacation" in terms of activity/fun, but it ain't work either, so yay.

Good for you!! I would love to be able to work 8 days a month and make just about as much as I do now. Most of the time, I do really like my job, it's just been a little tough lately with all the new people.

I've heard of that word, it's been about 5 years, but I vaguely remember that. no wait..... that was citation...

That seems to be the general consensus around here... A lot of people working their butts off and not many of them with the ability to get away from it. I've been really missing my old manufacturing days, lately. My ex used to call me a factory rat, but I'll tell you what, I made twice as much as he did and got a months worth of paid vacation every year.

Vacation? .. I'd settle for a day off.

Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

Oh, I see. How soft are those facial hairs?

I shampoo them daily, you could join me in the shower and shampoo it yourself.

It's been a while since I've gone anywhere just to.... get away and relax. I don't get vacation time at my current job, which kind of sucks, but then again, I don't really have anywhere to go, either.
