Daisies for My Love Daisies for My Love scott6250 In the early morning while the dew is still upon the earth I leave upon my search for that special gift. Not for roses do I wander, nor for diamonds and pearls but for that one sweet flower that my love most greatly adores. So I walk the fields looking here and there past the old wooden fence posts that mark the farmer's fields, through the deep green forest and past the sparkling waterfalls. I meander past the crystal clear waters of the lake searching for that special gift that my love so adores and cherishes more than any other. At long last I come upon an old path weeded and long abandoned and to my surprise there sits that one special gift for which i have diligently searched. In the fields by that old path they sway gaily in the breeze with bright sunlight shining off their lovely little faces, white petals waving to me round and lovely yellow centers calling sweetly to me. Excitedly I go to where they sit smelling their wonderful scent, and one by one I pluck them from the soft, fertile ground thinking all the while that at last I've found what my love likes best as I proudly gather them to my burly chest. Then I take off back down the old worn trail and head past the lovely waters of the crystal blue lake and over the gently rolling hills barely acknowledging the beautiful waterfall nor taking time to smell the sweetness of the rich pine scented air. Finally to my little farm house comfortably nestled in the bosom of the gently rolling hills I return to find my lovely lady sitting upon the porch<b> singing </font></b>an old sweet tune with a sparkle in her deep blue eyes and I hear the wonderful joy in her velvety voice when she notices that I'm home. I quickly ramble up the old, weathered steps of the porch and upon bended knee offer to my sweet lady the precious gift of daisies for which I so diligently searched to show my precious lady that she is the woman whom I love and adore and to let her see how very much she means to me.
