In life as I become older I’m liking Winter less and less.

Throughout this Winter I’m doing some research on the Outer Banks area and maybe looking to move by the Fall of this year.

Through the mid 80 up until Y2K I knew the area pretty well.

Those years I was living in Northern Virginia right outside of DC. Every year I would spend two weeks in Southern Shores.

Over the past many years I’m sure your area has changed. I have not been back since than.

Since July of 2011 I’ve been living in Atlantic City right off the beach. Winters are really cold here.

This blog is all about networking with anyone that lives in the area. I’m trying to relearn the area.

Any insight is greatly appreciated...

 I disliked Winter when I was younger,,,and really hate it now that I'm older!

But it does seem like climate is changing, no matter what your politics are, Areas that didn't get cold (like here in Texas) are freezing. Guess that's what they predicted, more extremes in weather. Maybe the OBX aren't affected, but I doubt it.

I'd say find someplace warm and go for it!

 I've never been in that area.
But it's got to be a bit warmer than Jersey.

 Yes winter is not a favorite time of mine. Spring and summer and fall are great. Seems like it gets harder to deal with the cold. OBX is a wonderful place. Have been there a few times. Most of the time I go around Buxton, Avon area. Enjoy the day
