Last Saturday night...

The Game Sports Bar, Northbridge. Paid a visit to the toilet, caught sight of a drunken, dreadlocked patron, 50% barefoot, a shoe in one hand and a puzzled expression on his face, like he's not sure where the shoe goes. When he catches sight of me his expression becomes more animated as he engages in conversation.

"Fucking AWESOME Friday night, right, mate?"

"Uh... It's actually SATURDAY night, mate."

"FUUUUUUCK! ...It's SATURDAY night?"

"Yeah."

"FUUUUUUCK."

"Yeah. But, still, awesome night. Good footy, good<b> piss...</font></b>"

"YEEEEEEAH mate!"

Who says you can't find intellectually-stimulating conversation in Perth?
