Phone Drying Machine

New technology also means new problems.
for instance the commercial where the rapper is pouring champagne over the new Samsung cell phone. Unless you have a water proof phone like that, you may like to know there are now phone drying machines available.
About the size of the ever present toy slipping crane booth, this new marvel for the techy world will dry your wet cell phone.....for a price.
For $35.00 you can put your soaked phone into the drying machine and it will apply the modern miracle process and wahla.......you get a dry phone back.

Beat that...............

If the phone was on when it got wet, the chances of it working properly again are slim, even if it completely dries. And, honestly, who ever turns off their phone?

After doing a google search for the "phone drying machine" it turns out it's in very limited areas. I saw Colorado mentioned...and there's one of the kiosks in Times Square in New York. Also, if you turn your phone on or try to charge it before it's dried, chances are it will destroy the phone.

I turn mine off every night about 9pm. If it's important, they will leave a message and I will return it in the morning.
X-girl friend would leave hers on all the time. Having it ring at all hours of the night really screwed my sleeping.

I've successfully dried phones out repeatedly in dry rice, oats, etc. It sometimes takes a few days, but it's free.
That usually works well with damp phones.

Yeppers... if it's in Corpus Christi, it's in other cities as well.
And the instructions DO SAY....IF YOU KEEP TRYING TO TURN IT ON AND OFF, IT WILL SCREW IT UP PERMANENTLY.
