Where are all the real people?? Today I got (another) flirt from a 20-something model looking girl from China who's seeking a loving man for a long term relationship. Yah know, it's really amazing. I get at least a couple of those a week. Yep folks, it really builds my ego (NOT) knowing some gorgeous Asian chick in her 20s is hot for me, a 54-year old guy living in the good ole USA…I'm sure her motives are as pure as she is…*cough*. Also, about once a week I get a request from another 20-something telling me to email them (not here, but offsite to yahoo or some such thing) so I can join their hot raging sweaty pulsating fun orgy parties, which apparently is made up of young 20-something hotties like she is. Of course they never tell me the details here, to get them I have to email some clown and give them all my personal information. Uh-huh. Sure. No thanks. And then there's the random chats with people who only have a standard membership, but they are in my same town or very close by and on the IM. Many times I would attempt to contact them, and sometimes I would even get a reply. The last one was about a week ago. A woman in my same town around my same age was on the IM, so I said "Hello", she replied, and 3 sentences later she wanted me to share my face photo. Of course she didn't offer to share her's first (if she did it would likely be fake), she just wanted to see mine. Well I've fallen for that a few times in the past, I'm ashamed to admit, and just about every time it's the same thing….I send a photo, they don't, and then they disconnect or make up some excuse for why they can't send theirs. It's as if a bunch of these clown get accounts on here just to see if they can collect face photos from members who don't post them on their profiles (like myself). Sydney University perhaps? Anyway, I told the woman I wasn't ready to share my face photo yet, thinking maybe we could chat more and see if there is some sort of connection through chatting before doing a photo exchange. But nope…when I told her I wouldn't send it right away, the next thing she said was she had to go. Of course. Yet another fake asshole photo collector posing as a real person. Along those lines, after a long and seemingly good chat I sent a photo to a woman who lives nearby (I won't reveal her identity, but her profile name sounds something like AncientMoose). We agreed to meet for coffee, I was there at the time and place, but she simply never showed, and never answered my inquiries afterwards when I asked what happened. No apology, no explanation. Nice. Classy. A person in her 50s who apparently never grew up and has the maturity level of a stupid game playing . And totally hypocritical, because on her profile she says how much it bothers her when people don't show up for meets. I wish inconsiderate fools like that would crawl back into the woodwork and stay there... Of course there are *some* real people here. I've met a few, hooked up with a couple, and didn't hook up with several others for one reason or another. But it seems like I have to plow through a lot of shit to find someone real. It gets old, and at this stage of life people should be grown past that…or so I thought. So, is it just me? Anybody else having frustration with their Polyamory Date experience? |

There are a lot of real people on here, but like you said, you have to go thru the horse shit first to find them. As far as those asking you to reply with your personal email address, DON'T do it, that's the way they get into your pc and steal your information!!!!!  WITHOUT PASSION LIFE IS NOTHING

When I'm on IM, I usually only get a reply about once every 6 or 7 I send. Being a standard member, I only get to start 20 conversations. That means that I might get to actually talk with 2 sometimes 3 to see if there is any chance to meet. I've only had multiple conversations with 1 woman, and through some excuse, was never able to meet.
