 Every single day powerful men treat women as if they are objects, it's really not all that shocking to me, anymore. It's a sad fact of reality.

 We know that kind of behavior is common. A man in a position of authority or power tries to coerce a woman into having sex with him, a quid pro quo with benefits. We also know none of this surfaced, at least as far as the general public knows, until Sondland testified in the impeachment inquiry. The charge has been made that the revelations of sexual harassment is an attempt to discredit Sondland, which might point to Republican operatives having investigated Sondland and found certain instances of unsavory behavior on his part. It seems plausible that both things are true. Just because Sondland made himself a target of right wing attacks and attempts at character assassination. doesn't mean he isn't guilty as charged by the women accusing him. Politics is a nasty game. Sondland did however testify under oath, so at least his testimony carries that much weight.

I'm inclined to believe the women who have accused him. I'm also inclined to believe he told the truth to the congress. At most it looks like an after the fact attempt to besmirch his character. Ho hum. I never had a high opinion of his character in the first place.

I agree except for one thing... I don't believe he told the whole truth about his communications with Tyrump.
