I Just Want To Find Inner Peace...

.... life is a journey... sometimes easy, sometimes difficult.... what I have learned is that inner peace starts within... being easy on yourself enables others to be easy with you.... its the snowball effect... let it roll downhill ... it gets bigger and gathers strength ... it also helps to have good partners in play that are supportive and have very strong streaks of curiosity ... hope to hear all about your reawakening and adventures... in whatever forum they emerge...

It might be too early for you, but this is a perfect time....a new decade...to have the mantra of " I will find myself this year and not allow anyone/thing to circumvent that mission". Say it over n over n over daily...even in the mirror, out loud and silently. I too have a journey ,and have developed a mantra . I hope we both come out on the other side....healthy and happy. The one horrible truth that I have learned from the women I have met on this site is the unbelievable amount of emotional scarring has been caused by men that supposedly loved them. Incredibly beautiful and vibrant women that saw themselves as the exact opposites, even long after the relationship has ended. It was heartbreaking. The most rewarding experiences I have ever had from being part of this site was helping a few very cherished friends heal from that pain and escape the prison of thoughts those bastards created. I love to follow your blog because you are one of the most beautiful, vibrant, sweetest and delightful women I’ve ever come across. You’re the girl next door we’ve all dreamed of. I wish you could see yourself through my eyes.

Not sure what happened to you. From your older posts it seemed liker you were on the level and knew who you were. Many on here are not that put together. So what are your fears? Where are you weak at? Take time to ask yourself these things. Learn to listen, find time just for yourself. The answers may not come as soon as you ask, often its more like an onion, peeling back a layer at a time.

Growing takes work, and you've got a goal that's worth that work. Just remember to be good to yourself in the process. But if I could suggest? Inner Peace isn't an end point. It's something we all have to constantly work toward because the world all too often throws curves and obstacles at us. Don't beat yourself up for not getting there fast enough. As another old saying... Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference. You are worthy of care, so make sure you give yourself that care. And when you're ready to open yourself up and let someone else care for you too, then do so. There are enough external things beating you up and talking you down, don't let them push you into talking down to yourself.
