Those cat-and-mouse couples A while back I mentioned Drunk Family from The Fast Show in my 'fuck ups' blog. One of the many things I loved about Drunk Family was the veneer of civility and normality amongst them until the second anyone's back was turned and they turned to a bottle of hard liquour stashed in a breakfast cereal packet. This cat-and-mouse game is replicated by certain couples online. Couples have always had a tit-for-tat dynamic when things don't go great, now it seems to involve others, or at least the involvement of outsiders is obvious. So the concept of the 'hotwife' has emerged in recent years - this would seem to involve an open relationship were the fem half has sex with others in a controlled environment and the male half celebrates it, I guess the ego boost of knowing their wife is desired by so many others outweighs the anguish of seeing her enjoy sex with others. I've only ever talked to a handful of couples online, and that's usually because really it's not a threeway conversation, the wife dominates the account and calls the shots on what happens. Very occasionally, I've talked to couples where both operate it equally and both are friendly and enthusiastic. Sometimes, this leads to men trying to ' out' their wives to a guy like me. This is something I find to be very surreal, but I guess they would look for a guy like me who is essentially harmless and polite, if they were looking to offload their wife at all. (For the record I've never met anyone pimped out to me, this seems to be a fantasy for married guys that stays a pipedream). By contrast the fem half wants to meet you but still make it illicit. Recently a hotwife told me I should tell her husband we'd already met (we hadn't), just to wind him up. I guess this is all tit-for-tat on steroids - it's hard for me to understand from the outside, but then couples have pointless arguments all the time that are completely avoidable, the tension brought about by constant proximity manifests itself in various ways - and this will include a sex element if your<b> libido </font></b>is high and you're a hunny. Like many aspects of 21st century sexual culture, it's new, it's weird, my biggest impulse is to try and analyse it, rather than strongly approve or disapprove. It's not what I signed up for, however. I'm not particularly looking for hotwife, have someone pimped out to me or want to spice up a marital destruction dynamic, I just want good sex, and I won't knowingly help someone cheat.
