"They can say, Everything happens for a reason"!

"They can say, Everything happens for a reason"! I sometimes wonder, is that meant to be. Destiny or luck of the draw. Why do seome people draw "Aces", while others draws a 2. That's not right. You got your rich and your poor, the have and the have nots. So, it's the way it suppose to be? Same as good and bad people. So is that part of the script? Do everything happen for a reason? Do some of us suppose to have bad times? Maybe Not? So, if everything happens for a reason exit? When he have the power to change the script? God did give us free will! If there no free will, we might as well be like a wind- up toy. Then we would have perfection! But, there are times when even a wind-up toy mght vere off to the right or left. Just imagine hearing this theory, "Everything happens for a reason"? Just imagine this is not true. The theory is powerful! There are people in ruts, and they still believe everything happen for a reason, and they get comfortable in their situation and not willing to make it better, They can be sad or miserable, but since everything happens for a reason, they there eternality. Just like someone overweight get comfortable in being obese. I never heard the term, in the bible. If "Everything happens for a reason" in the bible. If it's there, tell me where! I think someone came up with this theory to give people hope, encouragement in their life or situations. Don't get we wrong, this was once a positive influence in my life. BUT! Again, having free will, and we can change our situation. This got to be a man-made theory. But, when people live their's lives and everything is going great and they are happy with Their's lives. Then "They can say, "Everything happens for a reason"!           |

I may not know the reason something happens but thats ok. I don't have to know every detail of life on this earth. I try to accept life. That's tough enough.

You know my friend I have always believed that everything does happen for a reason, and god only gives us what he knows we can handle. I have to say though I think sometimes we get given to much to handle, and it's the way we handle things that keeps us and makes us stronger. I hope you enjoy an awesome Holiday weekend..

I recognize the priveledge I had growing up in a family that valued education and with a God-given intellect to make use of it. But I also made some wise choices along the way that put me in a better situation than others...I worked my ass off to put myself through college. I stayed away from the hard partying, dope and alchohol that could have derailed my plans. I took birth control to make sure I was ready when it was time to have children (and back then it was like $10/mo through PP). I married a guy that was also hard working and frugal. Very little was given to us, but we appreciated everything that was for sure. Yet even as we have made our choices (good and bad), I still have this underlying feeling that God has a plan for us and sometimes bad things have happened that with time we've seen were for the better in our lives in retrospect. I think we all struggle with the "why did this terrible thing happen to this good person" or "why did this wonderful thing happen to that jackass". Maybe we aren't meant to know the answers. I'm not convinced we are all victims of fate, but likewise I do believe in a higher power that knows more than we can ever know about the path our lives will take.

Went to a Casino one time I always Play quarter Poker Slots & Max Bet Played a Deuces Wild Slot  $20 dollars in to start ; third spin came up showing , A - 2 - 2 -2 - 2  Five of a kind paid me , $ 1,200  I got $200 cash & check for $1,000 Ironically , the wife & I were going on vacation the next day and now had extra spending money By the way ; I played out my $20 and stopped playing with an added $150  I guess you might say , The Reason , I won was because of vacation the next day

And then there is the saying " Life is what you make it". The only time I hear anyone say "things happen for a reason" is when something bad happens and others are trying to make people feel better.

everything happens for a reason, is a belief instilled in the masses, so they can be easier controlled by those that believe destiny is in the hands of the holder
