Taking a Chance

Taking a Chance I asked her if she wanted to meet for lunch and she readily accepted. I don’t know who was happier, but I am going to say I was since I was the one doing the asking, and since I’m writing this, I can embellish to my heart’s content!! We decided on a time and I told her I would be there early as a man does not keep any woman, and especially a sexy woman like her, waiting. I would be picking her up from work so got there 30 mins early and to kill a bit of time I decided to take a walk around town as the weather was beautiful ….. for New Brunswick.  About 10 mins before our meet time she texted me and asked me if I was here yet. In response, I sent her a picture of where we were meeting for lunch, then a picture of the building she works in, and finally a picture of the store where she works. Her replies were smiles and then more smiles and a big kiss emoticon that I knew she would emulate when she was finally standing in front of me.  My phone buzzes with a text from her letting me know she is just tidying things up and will be out in a few minutes. And that is how you can make a couple minutes feel like an hour, when you are waiting for something or someone you really really really want. When we lay eyes on each other we both light up and step into the best hug ever and a quick kiss that is just not, and never will be, enough.  I let my eyes take her in, admiring her every curve, the way she moves, feels, smells, and tastes, her assault on my mind, body, and senses overwhelming, and one I surrender to willingly. Walking out into the sunshine, merging with the lunchtime crowd, I am oblivious to those around me, except for the sexy woman beside me, her hand in mine, voice in my ear, scent on my skin from our hug and kiss.  Our conversation is effortless as we wind our way down the street, and we manage to navigate without incident which is surprising as we don’t seem to take our eyes off each other until we get to our restaurant of [her] choice. As I glance away from her to grab the door handle and open it for her I let my hand run down her back and over her ass as she walks through the door and she turns her head to flash that 1000 watt smile at me. It is true when they say that a woman’s smile is her sexiest curve!  She leads me back through the restaurant to a booth at the back, saying she wants me all to herself …. She is a mind reader too by the way. I help her take her jacket off and then she turns back in to me and steps in close for a longer, deeper, wetter kiss that leaves me tingly and wanting more. I know she can see it in my eyes as she slides down on to her seat. I debate whether to sit beside her and decide not to and I know I would not want to, and could not, keep my hands off of her. Not the place for that dammit!!  We sit across from each other and we both reach out for the others hand at the same time, our fingers interlocking and then disengaging to trace lines and circles on each other’s hand and arm only to intertwine again. The conversation never lags as we form our own little bubble in space and time, only occasionally interrupted by our waitress, who we welcome in for her brief visits. After the waitress leaves us after giving us our drinks, I reach into my pocket to get the little gift I had picked up for her, something she had mentioned to me a few weeks previously. I asked her to close her eyes, which she did, and placed it in her hands. The smile on her face as she opened her eyes was all I needed to know. As to what it was …. I’ll leave that up to your imagination.  With the more than occasional kiss across the table, lunch flies by, as I knew it would. The meal was memorable and I can’t tell you if my food was good or not …. nor do I care as I would go back there in a heartbeat just for the memories that spot is guaranteed to bring back. The waitress cleans off our table and brings the bill, which we paid and I stepped out of our booth and moved around to her side, taking her jacket to help her with it. I took the opportunity to run my had down her back again and along the top of her bum before holding up her jacket which she slid into as smoothly as she then slipped into my arms for the best kiss ..... or three.  Walking out, we walked hand in hand down the street to where I had parked my car, enjoying standing closer than close as we waited for the light to change so we could cross the street. I walked her around to the passenger seat of my car, gave her a quick kiss and opened her door. As she turned to sit down, I grabbed her and spun her back to me, telling her I wanted more, kissing her with the same passion as I had the last time I had seen her, a passion she returned 10 fold. The feel of her body up against mine was intoxicating and I reluctantly moved back and helped her into the car before moving around to get into the driver’s seat. The huge smile on her face was all the invitation I needed to lean over and kiss her again …. and again …. and again.  Finally shifting the car into reverse, we negotiate our way out of the parking lot and pull onto the road and head into town to go where we had discussed going during lunch. Somewhere where we could get a little closer to each other and have a lot of fun doing it.  But that will have to wait until next time.
