Photography and the Lifestyle

The lifestyle has become much trendier in the past few years and there are many online sites where you can look for a compatible couple or single for that special experience. Each couple needs to discuss how open they want to be about the lifestyle and whether they want to have face pictures on their profile on the various lifestyle sites out there. Truly, this is as individual as each couple! Only you, as a couple, can determine how open you want your profile to be. Then you need to choose the right lifestyle site for you. Some sites offer the ability to make your profile private or possibly only able to be seen by paid members, as well as the ability to make some photos private or available only by request.

There’s no right or wrong in whether you choose to make face pictures public or not, it has to be a decision that you make based on your preferences. While there are no true guidelines for your profiles, there are guidelines for taking pics in clubs, at parties or at any advertised lifestyle event. Most of this is common sense, but it’s never a bad thing to put it in black and white. It is never OK to take photos of your lovely lady at a club or lifestyle event with other lifestylers in the background! In fact, most clubs expressly forbid even cell phones from being used within their walls. It’s also not OK to take pics of yourselves playing with another couple without their consent. There are also times when another couple is ok allowing photos to be taken during playtime, but they may not be OK with you posting that pic on a lifestyle site. In short, always ask permission prior to posting any pic with others in it.

Now, getting to the nitty gritty of taking sexy pics! We all love those pics and there is a knack to taking the right pic. Some of us are better at it than others! You need the right outfits, makeup, lighting and props…a lot goes into those great photos! You may need to take 100 photos to get that handful of really great ones. There are quite a few boudoir photographers out there that can help you out if you are camera challenged. But, you’re in the lifestyle! If you see great photos on someone’s profile and they don’t live far from you, send them a message and ask who took their pics. They’ll appreciate your enjoyment of their photos and may be able to put you in contact with the photographer, or the talented hubby that took the pics.

I guess I’m fortunate, as my hubby is quite good at photography. On the November 2013 Couples Cruise, we decided to go around the ship and take some sexy photos. We went around some more public areas of the ship taking photos, then decided to wander outside for some pics. We ended up on the helipad and got a few really good pics. However, it was extremely windy that morning and we laughed trying to get good photos without my hair in my face or my sarong blowing up over my head. After about 5 minutes on the helipad, security showed up. We were afraid we may have broken some rule about the helipad, but they assured us we could take the photos without a problem ; however, it was too windy to be on the helipad and they were closing it off. This of course made for interesting dinner conversation!

I hope you enjoy taking those sexy photos, posting them however you see fit on your profiles and sharing them with those couples you like.
