Let The Fun Begin So I began the oh so fun task of car shopping yesterday. Not that I particularly need a new(er) vehicle. I want one, but the original plan was to wait because I know I can get a couple more good years out of Sammy (my named my car). But then Mom and Dad dropped a mini grenade on that plan. The lease on their current vehicle ends in December. So they were going to start looking for a vehicle large enough for everyone so we can take<b> trips </font></b>together. That ain't gonna happen. I mean, it's just the two of them. Why would they get such a large vehicle? Doesn't make sense. What does make sense is for them to get something small, possibly just a two seater pickup (Dad misses his and so does Mom) and I get the larger vehicle since I have the with mpre than they do. And so my time frame has been sped up. Because they aren't going to give up their idea of a large vehicle just because I said so. But if I eliminate the need for one, then logic will take over. But car shopping is annoying. I know I can't get a brand new because my credit isn't that good yet (it is improving though) so I have to look for something used. That means getting the color the want (blue) in my price range will be difficult. And let's not discuss pushy sales people (already had one on day 1 of the search) who want me to sign shit before I leave their lot. I'll get through this. It's MY responsibility to have a car that accommodates everyone. These are MY . I'm not letting my parents shoulder this. It's on me. I have until December. Let the fun begin....
