Rain

The sound of the rain
On my roof
Lulls me to sleep
Like a
Pitter..patter
Lullaby

Suddenly
A sharp clap
A flash of light
And I awaken

I reach for you
For your strength
And comfort
But you're not there
You've been gone
A long
Time

Warm tears
On a cool pillow
I pull the covers
Close
And once again
Pitter..patter
Lullaby.

 Very nice, I've always liked the rain, it brings alot of images to my mind.
