ðŸ˜ŧðŸ˜ē👀 Pasta day!!
One of my cold day this weekend goes to is lasagna or spaghetti . I am not a big fan of pasta, but these two dishes are stomach filling delights. With the spaghettis, I tend to tomato sauce and meat balls. I do recognize the ones that enjoy a "white sauce, cheesy style" though. I am not too pure in that I do enjoy mixing the sauce and noodles in the cooking pot and serving from there. A huge treat for me is lasagna. To me it is a robust, belly filler. Full of meat , cheese and noodles! . And it is easy to be naughty and take huge chunks of it. What a warm and cozy day when one of these delights are served. And actually I enjoy making them also . My other favorites are soups and chilis, I will do a post on them soon also. Are spaghetti and or lasagna on your comfort food list? Don't forget to serve nice warm bread also Do you make either of them? IF you had to make a choice, which would you choose for today?

 Any kind of pasta is good. Haven’t had a bad one. Spaghetti has always been my favourite with meat balls and sauce hugs V

 cheesey ghetti ? yum!
would love a good cacio e pepe right now
(or later this afternoon, actually),
but you cant make a good one with generic pecorino.

youd have to hit the specialty cheese section,
or even a specialty cheese SHOP,
and pay top dollar for a top-quality ingredient.

maybe when the restaurants open again for sit-in fine dining
that might be the first thing id get

but lets not rush it, its worth it to wait to do it when its safe.

 I am not a fan of lasagna, but we did make some homemade Spaghetti Sauce and Meatballs this past Monday and it sure was good. I hope you get to enjoy your favorite pasta today. I am making Tri-tip, mashed potatoes and gravy and some steamed carrots and peas for the hubby. I hope you enjoy a very peaceful Sunday..
