I make no appoligies in calling you and others heros, people who rid the world of monsters are not bad people. Everyone who served so my girls and I could enjoy freedom and choices has my total respect. we all know how the government works. ORDER IT DONE BUT LIE ABOUT IT.

Thank you, Dear! means alot to me having your respect! Don't consider myself a hero. Yes, world full of bad, even now. Government has it's ways, right or wrong, some things have to be done.

If you were protecting people you don't need forgiveness. There will always be evil in ths world and there will always be need for protectors. I have never faced havng to decide to take a life to protect others but toe who have had to for good have my greatest respect.

Thank you. Was a contradiction, actually. Doing evil to protect lives from more evil. Hard thing to carry for a lifetime.
But, that was then, an age ago. Not that person now, although would not hesitate to protect myself or loved ones now.

Don't know that I would read it, either. Hope you enjoy it, though.

"They" called it "peacekeeping", protecting American assets.
To take a life is a difficult thing, more so if they don't even know it's coming. Perhaps if it's face to face conflict, would be different.

The movie was great maybe even spellbinding in the way it unfolded. And the theatre I saw it in was silent at the end as the credits rolled. Respectfully stunned into silence......enjoy Mike

That would be a fitting way to end it.
Spent many years carrying a huge burden of guilt before coming to terms with it.
