Justice for Cecil......

Justice for Cecil...... I am deeply saddened by the death of this beautiful animal. I am embarrassed that he was killed by a Minnesotan dentist/trophy hunter. And, I am outraged by the way he was hunted. Lured off the preservation, then shot with an arrow and then tracked and shot with a gun -- beheaded and skinned. I am not against hunting for food .... I come from a long line of hunters. But what happened here (and happens elsewhere as well) really sickened me. I feel that all associated with this hunt should face poaching charges. What is YOUR take on this? Do you feel that the dentist should be extradited to stand trial for poaching? |

My first instinct is an eye for an eye. Put the dentist in the lion's territory - unarmed and lets see how he likes their teeth. Practically of course he should pay huge fines and society should make sure he'll never boast of his "trophy" . Times they are a changin. Wish he would have the good sense to help the conservation effort for the rest of his life

he is truly hated all over the world...I am sure he wont be able to practice dentistry, unless it was on animals, anyone smart enough to google him will find who he is and how the world hates him..that beautiful majestic animal slaughtered illegally by a man with a small penis Thanks for stopping by my blog. I agree with all you said. He is hated around the world. I do feel badly though that his wife and kids have to suffer. Looking at all the publicity and the protestors at his office for the past two days....I don't think he will have much of a practice left. I hope he will no longer be able to afford to go hunting. That dentist is an idiot who has already paid fines for illegally hunting bears in MI. Obviously he has no ethics and only lives to kill a trophy in some twisted reasoning of his own. My family too is full of hunters for meat. I have never understood the fascination with killing a beautiful animal to only hang its head on a wall. So many species being hunted to the brink of extinction for exotic horns or tusks so fools with shriveled dicks can feel mighty. I read today that he is also slated to come to the Canadian North to Trophy Hunt as well.. I hope they confiscate his passport.. that would end his sick hobby in his travels all over the world. He claims innocence in not knowing Cecil was a favoured much loved park protected collared Lion... claiming he trusted his guides....In many other matters of law you are found guilty of such things as it is up to you to educate yourself before you act on them.... I pray the cubs and lionesses survive the loss of Cecil in this pride as he was their protector. Hello and thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog! I am with you......I am also praying for the lionesses and cubs. Animals have families too and I doubt that the trophy hunters ever consider that. This man has a wife and children who are now in hiding (due to threats against them). I feel badly for them (not him). Being a South African these occurrences almost don't shock anymore. Our Rhino`s are slaughtered to the brink of extinction because some small dicked assholes think the horn of this beautiful animal will cure their inadequacies. The other sad aspect of this is that money talks...our politicians` pockets are deep and the people of Southern Africa are poor - kept so by murderers such as Mugabe. money can buy anything They may not shock you anymore.....but they shocked plenty here. I am so sorry that this happened at all. You are right. Money talks. As does power. I heard on the news today that South Africa needs the Money that the trophy hunters provide to their economy.
