Being true to yourself

Someone recently blogged about masks. It struck a chord with me as I feel I am always wearing a mask on here. I am, for the most part, a very open person, and also a very trusting person. But due to the nature of this site, I prefer to keep a lot of things about myself private. And I am very slow to trust that people are who they represent themselves to be. It makes for internal conflicts; I do want to make friends (not solely friends with benefits), and you can only be evasive for so long. Plus it just doesn't come naturally to me to be coy.
All part of the challenges of living the "lifestyle" in a small town!

 Yes I agree with you my friend. Trust does not come from beginning. We have to earn trust from each other. But believe me there are few very nice people and you can trust them as you get to know them better.
But I agree with you fully. Privacy is very important and you being private is normal and acceptable.

 sorry it took this long for you to figure out. If you haven't figured out this is the number 1 game show... open your eyes! I know what i want as I'm sure most everyone do... In your case I want to play with you.. so you have to waste a lot of time figuring that out... I'm being blunt because your are a long ways away so we'll never meet anyway. the biggest thing I hear is a so called bi guy wants and is invited to join a couple to play with him and goes solely after the woman of the couple... I'm not saying all couples are just guys looking for a good time, but i can tell you most are. I can also tell you a lot of mind games go on on this site and why pay to play mind games when you can do that for free...lol

 I agree prairie, one has to be very careful in smaller communities. We have chatted many times but do not know if we have seen each as I am in the same area lol
