My Word

You question why I love to write,
It’s not so hard to explain
The flow of words from brain to paper,
It feels as right as rain.

I love the look of words on paper
Especially when properly done,
The taste, the feel as it leaves my hand
Makes it feel like something won.

Words formulated in the form of poetry,
I admit to a certain flaw,
The stories that I would love to write
Gives me a serious case of lock-jaw.

I admit that writing is easier
Than talking is for me,
But as soon as I try to put my stories together,
My words just seem to flee.

But when I try to write a poem,
When the words gather feet to run,
By the time they are ready to get away
My story’s already done.

So if I start to write more poems
Than the stories I wish to write,
It’s only because my words they run
Away from the brightness of light!

your words create a light
a kind of joy, and kindda bright
a tinge of sadness
in a sea of madness
is why we visit
no matter if it's illicit......

you are definitely the better poet! have a great day

Wannabe/Sexpot - which one do you want me to be?

The words do not run,
merely lose their way.
Scrambled and lost,
distracted on the path.
Screaming to be seen,
waiting for the eyes to find.

I know that feeling very well!

Dyslexics are teople poo!
Dyslexics of the world untie.

"The words do not run, merely lose their way.":

These words of yours they are quite apt,
Even if my own words don't know how to act,
So it's a must that I find a way
To make your words join mine at play!

Don't be surprised if your words turn up in a re-incarnation of this poem!
