Promises Unkept... Seems Like it's Me.

Well, it doesn't seem I'll be keeping my word anytime soon. I have a choice of making some kind of bogus ending just to get it done, or keep working at an ending until I get it right.

I hate when my poems are ended disingenuously; it's like work half-done, the work of a lazy person.

I'm no fantastic writer but I still expect to do the best that I can. It was a mistake to put it out there before I was sure of the ending; that reeks of arrogance. So I will just have to continue to work until I get it done.

I am stressing because I know me; if I don't complete it soon it could be next year before it's done.

The good thing is that in the meantime I can continue working on something else.

Cinder block indeed! My fault. I should have continue to the end but I stopped too soon.

I was also trying to write a kind of erotic poem but it was going on too long so I got frustrated and stopped and now I've lost the rhythm, and can't complete that one either.

I'm gonna get it though. Maybe have to post it in bits and pieces cause I doubt someone is gonna read such a long piece.

Change positions. Think upside down, turn your brain, look up, change your perspective.

More good advice. I really appreciate it. I'm headed for New York this weekend, and I usually get great ideas when I'm driving fast over long distances, so It might just work out.

Thank you.
