One Door Closes & Another Opens -Goodbye 2013 As the curtain falls on 2013 and the new act begins for 2014; I wanted to take a few moments and reflect on the past year and the many things that made this a wonderful year full of great adventures and many surprises… As some of you have seen, I’ve been somewhat quite the past couple of months and I have a feeling that is about to change… I’ve written over a thousand posts the past couple of years -that has included everything from the insane to the mundane… Some of them I’ve been very proud of, while others -I would rather just forget… I do have to admit; the thing I miss the most is my Half Nekkid Wednesday postings, those -were a lot of fun… I also have to admit that I miss the comments and interactive banter that I’ve had with some of you, but I needed this break and time away from everything “I hope to see a lot of you return”… I plan on making some changes over the next couple of weeks to my profile and possibly making a video or two -so please stop by and let me know what you think… Here’s a list of the things that made 2013 a great year for me and I hope 2014 is even better. 5 –I finally got my BA in business, it only took me about 15 years to get it done… I’m still doing some on-line courses in Liberal Arts to bolster the degree… 4 –I finally went into business for myself, I’ll file for my LLC at the start of the year… I am so excited about hanging a shingle with my name on it… 3 –In addition to the papers that were published last year, I wrote 3 more this year and I have an e-book in galley -I look forward to day it’s published… 2 –I’m happy to say I found my way back to music and<b> photography </font></b>and for those who know where to find it; it’s been my pleasure to share it with you… 1 –My travels and journeys throughout this great country… I started the year out in Southern Indiana and finished it out in Northern California where I’ll be for the next year… As I say goodbye to 2013 -I do it with a smirkish grin that I am so famous for and thankful everyday for the people I have been blessed to meet and that have traveled with me on the journey, some come and go and some never come back and that’s OK, believe it not -some of those still share the most beautiful sites with me because I still carry them in my heart and ask nothing in return… Hello 2014 -I’ve been expecting you; we have much to do and 12 months to enjoy them. some times the things that comes from between my ears makes me pause for reflection |
