Dr. Ford vs. Brett Dr. Ford is 100% sure Brett K sexually assaulted her when she was 15 and he was 17. Brett denies it 100%! They cannot be both accurate. The GOP trying to save the nomination want to sell the evil doppleganger theory. The problem is Dr. Ford had met Brett a few times and was very close to his face when struggling to escape, in her version of the events. She also identifies his close friend Mark Judge at the scene of the crime. What is the odds of the doppleganger being there with Mark Judge at the same time? So the evil twin works for a sci fi or horror film but not for reality in 1982. So who is truthful? Dr. Ford has passed a polygraph, Brett has not. Ford asked for FBI investigation, Brett not. Ford was not drinking much, Brett drinking lots according to many witnesses. Ford no incentive to false report, Brett much to gain from covering up sex assault. Ford answered questions well, Brett evasive, bluster and rage. Ford recall laughter at her, floor plan, details. Brett vague on events. Ford truthful about not recalling date, time, how she got to party and how left. Brett lied about drinking, lied about amount he drunk, lied about meaning of his yearbook entries, lied about using stolen info on judges when doing judicial appointments, etc. Ford doing civic duty to report sex assault. Brett claim vast left wing conspiracy to get him as revenge for his role against the Clintons! I expect the FBI will turn up more evidence of Brett's drinking, sex assault and hostility toward women in high school and college. He may be nice to his female clerks, but he has been a sexual predator at times in his life. Further Brett does not have the control needed to be a judge. Rage is not judicial. I predict Brett is going down. The GOP has further energized women and progressive men to bolt the GOP. Look out for a blue wave... |

I know conservatives hate the dire state of Brett's nomination. Tell that to someone else. Dr. Ford was extremely credible. Brett not. Brett even lied about the legal drinking age for beer in Maryland in 1982! Not good to lie about matters of public record. I was opposed to Brett for his politics before his sexual assault allegations. Neil Gorsuch is very conservative but did not have this problem. Brett is a mean drunk as many friends and others have said. Karma is a bitch.
