I have been watching the seasons of the Americans on Amazon Prime. The eighties and Russian sleeper agents were real. Keri Russell is great as a hard core agent who has a change of heart. The FBI agents are not able to figure things out too quickly but they do eventually get with the program.

Gorbachev was much more pro American than Putin, who seems bent on restoring the USSR in some degree.
