Trump is now going to try to kick out those arrested even for petty offenses, such as DUI or . This higher enforcement will lead to a greater backlog. The emphasis on serious and violent offenders will be set back by focusing on minor misdemeanors. The illusion of getting tough on crime will create less results on serious crime. After a few years, this unintended result will become clear. Meanwhile, the undocumented should avoid Texas, Arizona, or any where within 70 miles of the South Border with Mexico, airports or seaports to avoid arrest and detention. |
