High Hopes

Well, nothing much worked out as I had hoped for this weekend.

As some of you may have noticed I enjoy outdoor photography. My wife and I discussed spending the weekend driving around to different places and just taking nature photos all weekend. We also plannned on fooling around a lot.

By now you would think that I know when we plan something it just won't happen. There is something very counterintuitive about this. I know that when we plan something it will not happen. Planning things out is very much the death of any idea for some reason. Spontenaity doesn't do much for us either unfortuantely.

So my plans of hitting at least three different spots that I know we could have some isolated fun fell apart. My wife was more interested in working in her garden. Her cycle started and she didn't want to do anything. While she isn't workign she has been driving all over shopping and didn't want to do much running around. Today she decided to go outlet shopping with my mother. So I have the place to myself for a few hours.

My big plans for the afternoon, first up is eat something. After that, watch some classic Doctor Who. If I get real energetic I will go out to run some errands. I will probably play around in here for most of the afternoon as I am bored.

On the bright side I will have the weekend of the 4th of July to myself. She is going out to visit her parents, and I just don't have the vacation time to be critisized by my inlaws for a week instead of a vacation I would actually enjoy in August with my friends.
