Who?
At 4:30 this morning, I hit the snooze button. Hit it again 9 minutes later. Had a quickie. Put his lunch together. Grabbed a peach for his breakfast. Watched him dress. Handed him a bottle of Grape Gatorade. Kissed him goodbye at the door. Told him to have a good day and drive carefully. Closed the door behind him. Got online for a few minutes. Went back to bed.

The whole routine was so familiar, but the dark curly hair that graced my shoulder at the door wasn't. Neither was the four inches missing from my reach for his hug. The lips didn't feel the same, but just as good. His eyes, a different shade of blue.

Did I have the wrong guy this morning or have I been carrying on this routine with the wrong guy all these years prior?

Thought I should clarify - no, I wasn't implying that this morning I had the right guy. He could be anyone...someone I've already blown off or someone I haven't met yet.

 someone to cuddle with that feels good flesh to flesh is always the right person - even if it just lasts a short moment in time..
