Manic Monday

That is how I feel this day has been. I am so exhausted from work and from stress. But I think some stress will be alleviated soon. Tomorrow I am going to tell my bowling team captain about being transgendered. The team wants to practice on Saturday and that day I am female. I am not going to change that for anyone. I am sure the team will be alright with me practicing as a woman. I know it may be a little awkward doing that at first but once they see how happy I am being a girl they should be cool with it.

The next step will be to come out to the league. I plan on starting to bowl in the league as female. Again it ay be a little awkward for some people but they will just have to get over it. My sexual identity is my business and mine alone. Treat me like you would any other woman. I know once this is done all the leagues at the ally will know. Not sure how everyone will take it but I have seen most people are OK with it.

Well I need to take a shower and get to bed. I would love to get some input from people who are reading this blog. How you feel about transgenders and other members of the LGBT community? DO you think that we are born this way or is it a choice? Do you know anyone who is transgendered?

I want to thank everyone who has posted on my blog, who have read it and who have supported it. I hope to continue posting here and maybe help someone who is like me or maybe help someone better understand the LGBT community.

Love you.

Hi Lee Ann, I hope all goes well with your bowling team and league. Some will accept and others will not.

Yes I know that. So far the only people that really do not accept me is some members of my family. I am very nervous about coming out tonight, I think all will go well. The team captain is really sweet and I think she will be OK with it.

Lee Ann as to your question "are transgender born that way or is it a choice" I personnel feel it can be both, for the majority of homosexuals I do feel it is a lifestyle choice, however I do believe one can be born that way as well.

Hebrews 12:1 "Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us.”

"easiliest besetting sin" is the one sin above all others that one is born with and we desire the most. IE some people are born with a desire to drink alcohol. Above all others they desire alcohol. This can be applied to greed, lust, or any biblical sin.

It is not my place to judge anyone for choices, for I am not perfect in anyway. I have a desire for the flesh and lustful eyes. I accept these things. In light of that my theology does allow for the possibility of people to be born LGBT - hope this doesn't offend anyone that was not my intentions.

I understand where you are coming from. I do think that a majority of LGBT are born that way. I have seen many people on my walks of this earth, some straight, some lesbian, some gay and some trans. I feel that these people I know they were born that way and it is not a choice. To be attracted to the same sex (which I am attracted to both but I prefer men) I see nothing wrong with it.

Sin is sin. None of us are perfect on this earth, no matter how much we think we are. No one has all the answers or know what God wants or what God has in store for us. If we think we know what Gos wants than that makes us very arrogant. I know God has love for all people, no matter if they are straight or Gay.

That is just my opinion. I don't have all the answers, if I have any at all. I just know what it is in my heart.

I agree completely with your response. sin is sin and God loves all His people regardless (period).
