Night Rider/Big Ford advert

Well last night Jess and I watched the new Night Rider pilot on the telly. We both enjoyed it but in my opinion it's just one big and very obvious advert for the Ford motor company.
It was non-stop sexy Ford metal, in a variety of pretty colours and styles, from start to finish. Little plot in between to hold it together. Sexy cast, sexy cars but the cheese was as memorable as the CSM, (Cheese simulating material), found in the average mcdonalds meal.

SIGH....

 Me being a woman all I could think of is "Nice car".It was abit much but I enjoyed it and got a kick out of seeing david Hasslehoff make a cameo appearence.Use to watch the old one when I was a kid and loved the car.I was not one of those drooling females that watched it cause of whats his face.Oh well.

 The new guy for the voice of KITT wasn't as good as the guy theyhad up to 3 weeks before the show. That guy did GMC truck commercials and GM complained and had them do the voiceover again with Kilmer.

CelticKarma.....You missed two hours of Ford porn.

Opus.....The voice of KITT didn't offend too much, just reminded me of the evil KAR from the original series.

 They made a new Knight Rider?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that show was a classic! When I was a little boy I used to have Knight Rider border on my bedroom walls. (I also had one wall of my bedroom painted hot pink; I think I was a deeply strange child.)

haversack_smith.....Yep a true classic. Given the nature of the program I expect it to hit the UK before the end of the year on SKY or perhaps even Virgin Cable, (It was better when it was Tellywest).
