My birthday

Today May 8th is my birthday. But in reality I have many birthdays. many of us have had near death experiences. Me; I've had quite a few. More than I deserve.
An appendectomy when I was 9 . If I hadn't been born in a western civilisation country after WW 2 I would have died.
Hang gliding accident when I was 28. Just feet lower I would have slammed into a small rock cliff and had my head smashed. (one of my best hang gliding<b> buddies </font></b>did exactly that 7 months later.. He died at 25)
Almost killed my whole family on US 95 between Hwy 62 and Needles CA driving home from Christmas in AZ in 2008. Tried to pass a semi and there was another one right in front of it. (2 lane rd.) No room and oncoming Winnebago, was going to be head on. Swerved into the oncoming dirt shoulder. Luckily the Winnebago didn't swerve. 2 second decision saved us.
Heart attack and by pass surgery 5 years ago April 8th.
