Being Stood Up

It always amazes me how people will take the time to talk to someone and then set up a meeting time and place then don't show up. Why go through confirmation of a time and location if that is not the intended purpose?

We all know that things happen in life that are beyond our control and things do happen. However, in this day and age there is always ways to contact someone: phone call (home or cell), leave a message here on Polyamory Date, email or messenger.

I am curious to find out how many others have experienced this? To myself I feel that this time has been wasted not only in traveling to other places to meet someone, it also affects my trusting in the future to step out of my own area.

 So can relate to being stood up ... been there myself mos tof the time seems like a lotta talkers on site that have no intention of meeting anyone ... i can understand being late .. even by an hr but not showing period sucks the big sour one
