World Naked Bike Ride

I went on the World Naked Bike Ride this saturday past. It was great! 70+ of us riding around the streets of TO escorted by bike cops. I was a little worried about chaffing or discomfort riding naked (I was wearing shoes and socks) but it was actually very comfortable and quite liberating. Of course, I will use any excuse to be naked in public. LOL! Some of the looks we got were classic. I invite anyone to come next year. The site is www.worldnakedbikeride.org. You don't have to be naked, go as bare as you dare. LOL! It was so much fun. Lots of people honked their horns and cheered. Some clapped. Some just stared unsure what was happening. Every time I heard a wolf whistle, I yelled "Thank you!" Is that wrong? I'm sure lots of tourists will go home with some interesting stories. "You won't believe what I saw in Toronto!" I met some interesting people. We all had a good time shouting slogans like "Less gas more ass" and "less smog more log". The ride takes place in 20 countries and 70 cities. If there isn't one in your city you could organize one. It's a blast. More later.

Oh and what a gorgeous day to be biking around Toronto nude. I've never heard of this before...very cool. Checked out their website and was surprised to see the ride wasn't hidden to where people don't attend, but was from the Exhibition grounds throughout the financial district, Yorkville, downtown Yonge and area, along the lakefront. WOW !!! I'm marking my calendar for next year !!!
